Default Very bad choice of oil for Pirius

A month ago, a gentleman came to us for oil change in his almost new Pirius 2012 Model (he purchased ~2.3 million).
We recommended him fully synthetic 5/40, but he said its expensive. After half an hour discussion we ended up to pour 5/30 oil for PTT (because he was not willing spend single more penny for engine oil). anyway.

After 2 weeks he came and said the oil (PTT 5/30) is "just Ok". But not very excellent. And he advised that he will buy the oil by himself and will come here for change. We said OK.

After 1 month he came to us and asked to drain the oil. We did. Then he opened the trunk and give us new "bottle" of oil and said he has bought it from Hyperstar (or Makro) because his mechanic friend has strongly advised this oil. And when we saw at the bottle, our jaws were dropped to knees. It was Havoline Motor Oil 20/50 of SG grade. We slightly insist him that its not good oil, but he start staring at very strange eyes and started getting mad. So eventually we poured Havoline 20/50 SG grade oil in his almost brand new Pirius.

Guess what, when he start the car, the "engine check light didn't turned off". It?s a week now and his engine light is not turned off but he (GOD Shower His Blessings on him) still running car. But now he slightly admitted that he will change the oil as per our advise but still next time (after running Havoline for 5K min.). We asked him again to change it immediately and considered it as your loss. But he will run at-least 3K on it. Uff.. what a mentality.

btw you should have a handy scanner at your oil change shop - in this case I think the car owner was a simpleton, if it were someone else you might have a giant problem - because the car rolled in with no error and now after your work it has an error. If I owned that car you would be fixing it right now.
@Xulfiqar bhai knocked something loose or knocked something "out" ?

You are going to guarantee full finance of rebuild of the engine if your recommended 15000 kms are followed with one oil change with cheap small cellulose fibre filters that are not OE and engine has small sump?

What does the test kit entail?

For testing oils here in the US I send a sample to this place Blackstone Labs and they send a report back to me. I can also get an analysis done for free where I work.

Usual case is that small sump engines cannot push the 8000 kms mark because the oil becomes loaded. The higher intervals are always tied to large sump capacity.

if i am not wrong then this change interval will be only for a very very few cars like mercedes long life etc. which we dont have in pak and neither the pak fuel quality is good. Hence it seems that 60k interval cannot be for small engines. Plz make sure sir.

Get it written and signed on court bonded paper. Too much litigation problems with such a statement.

btw did you ever find out the check light problem?

We called that gentleman yesterday and he still says the engine light is continuously ON. But he seems quite unhappy with his choice of the oil and informed us to put aside one bottle of oil "of our choice" and he will come to next weekend for change. That guy act weirdly when come to price of the engine oil. But we have planned to give him following options depending upon his willingness to spend money
    PTT 5/40
    Zic XQ
    Kixx pao
    Shell Ultra
    Total 9000

Lets see which one he choose.

Guys does anybody know if the caltex pump in f10 sells genuine engine oils?

Plus also let me know should i put caltex fully synthetic 5w40 oil in my 2005 vitz?

At the moment i am using normal caltex havoline 20w50 i think and not satisfied.

My mechanic said that the oil has been run more than twice its normal change interval although it was run for only 2500km so i want to confirm if that pump sells genuine oils or my mechanic is wrong.

your shop did something to the car to cause the check light. if you are bold enough to say it was due to oil then you should back it up with facts. this thread of your is solid proof that no one should get an oil change from your shop because no one lnows what they are doing.

dear sir, plz treat it as from point of discussion rather threatening.
That gentleman is will visit to us on saturday and if i am there at shop by that time, then i will certainly take the picture before and after oil change and will post here for your ref. Dont know at this point why you are acting like JUDGE in the court who as always wants to keep the superiority of the knowledge as upper hand. Cool man, chill.

why did you put non recommended oil in a car, for your 2 cents you made such a poor decision and compromised on your shops quality standards and repute.
Plus the check engine light, are you sure your mechanic didnt changed the inverter oil instead.

and I have seen that you are recommending KIXX oil to people, on what basis, do they give you more profit /LTR. KIXX is a sub-standard oil and most users who drive on longer routes dont go near it. What oil filters do you have at your shop BTW
    Its like
