Default Prius 2013 G LED ground clearance issue

    hi
well i recently got my dream car its perfect in every way except the ground clearance,

    It has 215/45/r17

and i think its suspension is stiffer and lowered. so the question is shal i opt for spacers or 215/50/r17 or BOTH

please guide thanks alot ( also it would be great help if nay one can share the diameter of the oem 17inch alloys with tires so i can match the profile of my tires to that size.)

    Appreciate the help!

Ye toh prius main common ha bro! Lagti hi lagti on big speed brakers! Bus all you can do is drive it with care and stay away from big slopes, big speed brakers and some type of big khaddas 😜

this wheels are same as stock in diameter
i'll suggest 215/55R17 profile in comparison with spacers because spacers increase the distance between wheels and fenders which feels awkward but it will be costy

I tried the size with 215/55/r17 and i think the tire will rub on khaddas with the body, as the distance btw fender n tire is barely an inch ... so my best option yet is 215/50/r17 which is almost he same diameter as 195/65/r15 ... its still a few cms lower then 65 profile.. so as a result i might have to get the spacers installed as well

so any idea from where i can get the best spacer installation ... which have an even size and good installation experience

    thanks for the help

Spacers make the car look really weird + they are not good for suspension. Try zig-zagging your way over speed bumps.

Post Prius Alpha G Touring 2013

    hi friends,
Just purchased a Prius Alpha G Touring 2013 and its on the way to Pakistan Insha Allah.
As i have done research it will probably have 215/50-R17 Tires.
Do you think I will face some ground clearance issues with this vehicle on moderate sized speed breakers.
If yes what should i do to prevent it.
    Thanks in advance.

I have heard ZVW40 has a better suspension designed to carry 7 pessengers but lets see.
How do you suggest me to prepare for a solution. Please guide.

The suspension will become uneven, lifted from rear. They will compromise handling.
