yes morff
lake is freezing cold, i wished to dive in but my guide/ locals really forbid me doing so. according to locals it is more than 80 ft in depth and there are bushes that cant allow u to swim.. end result obviously is death.
i feel that it wont be 80ft in depth seeing the srroundings but eventhough if locals are not allowing to swim than there would be some reason.
it is the most colorful lake i ever saw. lost numerous pics of that trek due to a little disaster but still i am having a few.
people there are exclusively good, providing classical hospitality, and land scape obviously is marvolous. every where u see are the snow capped peaks or woods and potato fields on leveled ground. naltar nala is good for trout as locals said...but i didnt got any..
i stayed two nights near a potato field in lush green little grassy patch about 12km before the lake. (that place really caught hold of me and my team)
about an hours trek from the lake upwards there are two more lakes, though not that colorfull but really their view is much more impressing than this first naltar lake
unfortunatly i have lost the pics. i will see if i have any than for sure i will upload them as well. but anyone who is going to naltar lake must have to go some beyond first lake (colorful lake)
the night i spent on naltar lake was marvolous, we BAR B Qued chicken and heard local songs by one of the local residing there till mig night.(he was having a tent much better then mine.. i felt inferority compex in that aspect )
