Nice. Good going.
They stayed safe and happy throughout...
Where it is not dangerous...
The start of the day wasn't this depressing though,
The hazy Kel Morning was a hive of activity...
Long left Kel's way-station for the heavens of Shounter and Gurais...
When the Lazy Lahories were finally up.
And they were really Up for the Day's Big Attraction...
For the most part, the festival's first day was a boring affair. No Polo or any other traditional games at all, just a one-sided game of cricket.
Soon the kids were looking for some place to hide...
was Pak Army's only para-glider for the day, whose flight injected a much needed euphoria and delight to the audience.
Five flights were planned for the day but the weather took a bad turn and rest of them were cancelled.
Meanwhile a truck had plunged into River Neelum near Janawai (once again), killing the driver and a helper who tragically were father and son.The driver was trying to save some bakarwal's goats when the mud wall he trusted, gave way.
That's sad.
a small little request if you dont mind ? please mention the name of place on every pic .. thanks
Thanks
Bro most of these pics were taken in the Upper Gurais Valley, between Halmat and Taobat. Some others (Bakarwals and Neelum Sports Festival mainly) were shot in Kel.Plz let me know if you still want me to pinpoint the location of any specific snaps.
It's absolutely tragic but number of accidents in the region is on the rise. Most of these are not reported in national media and no real concern is shown at the govt level. Stretch of the road between Sharda and Kel is under construction and may become a little safe by the next season but beyond Kel up till Taobat, there's not much of a hope.
Because of the accident the drivers were over-cautious and it took us much more than normal to reach Taobat...
Very nice. Excellent
