I think you mean , what is toyota's vision regarding cars. I think they make cars in (thok) bulk.
All the do is design a couple of steering wheels, gearboxes, dashboards etc. and then mix and match and put them in several cars. Thats why they produce about 25-30 different models each year.
I will give you an example here.
Compare the new allion , premio and mark X, corolla axio.
What you will see is corolla axio, premio and allion all have same steering wheel.
Now check premio, allion and mark x automatic gear boxes. They are same.
Now compare belta, vitz etc.
They have same steering wheels, gear boxes, some parts of interior are same too.
You will never see this time of mix and match strategy at any other manufacturer like honda, nissan etc. Only with toyota.
It makes reliable vehicles. But thats all there is to there vision. Toyotas have no soul. They are only made to be reliable and not pretty and dynamic like hondas are. There less curves found on toyota cars.
So they can use a bigger sheet of metal to build the outer shell.
On the hand you will hondas to have slightly thinner sheet of metal used to build the body parts, thats because hondas are always more curvy and aerdynamic and there thick sheet cannot be moulded easily to build these sleek body parts.
I wont mind a toyota for myself ( with the exception of our pakistani corolla, which sucks big time ).
They are quite reliable and well built. Thats all there is to toyota cars.
They are a mass produces of motorcars. So i guess they have to mix and match alot of the body parts they make. It would be hard for any company to design steering wheels, gear boxes for each and every car in their line ( toyota makes 25 plus)
