The other day, I went to buy a brand new (zero meter) Civic VTi Oriel from an auto dealer. The reason i choose to buy from dealer is because Honda Center gives around 2-3 months for delivery and it may take even longer. Dealers sell them at 50k profit. The car arrived from factory the same day (as claimed by the dealer). Just to be safe, I took my denter for inspection before making a purchase. He pointed out some touchings in the body and one of the mud guards was changed as well. I asked for a replacement and didn't accept the car. Someone told me that these auto dealers buy new cars (that get damaged during transportation) at very less price, fix them and then sell at original price + additional 50,000 own. I just want to ask that is this type of practice common these days?
