Hello Friends;
Ive bought a 04 Santro recently and the car is mis firing on CNG & the air filter cover pops open. I have changed the spark plugs and put in Brisk 3 Tip plugs (which are performing very well on my friends santro).
My usual mechanic has diagnosed that the cam sensor grip needs to be changed and its because of it that the car is misfiring.
My CNG mechanic says that you need to change the cam grip and if still the car misfires change the plug wires and if that doesnt solve it then change the coils.
We took the car to Hyundai Township in order to get 'specialized care & experience'
First the Hyundai guys said that you need a 3 tip plug in santro, then they adjusted some CNG settings and said the cars ok. Now I & my brothers feel the misfire but Hyundai guys refuse to accept that there is something wrong with how the car is driving. Are they in denial or something?
Anyways is there someone who went through similar experience and went on to rectify it successfully?
P.S. I feel that this is an electrical issue but it happens only on CNG so posting it here.
Regards;
Omer
