Salam,
I have this friend of mine who is getting a City vario 2005 for around 550k.
The car has some exterior issues but overall the car is good.
According to him, 10-20 thousand will make the car perfect.
However, I went with him and took a test drive.
I have an Auto cuore on petrol. For me the city was way too slow and as if my acceleration had no effect on it. My cuore is way too better in terms of pick.
We were running the car on petrol. The car also has cng installed.
When we switched to cng, it was running the same way as it was on petrol(actually I felt it was a bit better).
My friend was getting a good price so he got the deal done. Cause he was willing to get a cultus or cuore. So he decided a city is a better choice.
Now the whole issue is that, we just learnt that vario has big issues when it comes to cng.
My friend plans to run the car on petrol? Would that work fine or do you think that being previously used on cng might have caused severe damages? What if we run the car on hi octane for some time then switch to normal petrol?
Are there things to check or any symptoms I should be observing? as the deal is yet to be finalized.
The car gave no smoke and I felt no jerks. It was just more like a dead meat. Didn't feel as if I was driving a 1300 cc.
He lives in karachi. Is there a place or something where we can get the car back to normal as he plans to use it on petrol. I mean I simply don't understand why the car felt so weak. Otherwise the drive and the gear shift were all fine. No sounds whatsoever.
Thanks!
Would be glad if someone could reply immediately as its a big urgent
