Dear OP: I can understand the dilemma you're going through. So many suggestions, tyre varieties or options and the setback from your stock OEM tyres fetching you insanely low resale value. Most of us have gone through this experience. Well, don't panic. Follow these simple rules or checklist:
1. Make up your mind and select the tyre size and profile you want.
2. There is absolutely no harm in going +1. But this is something you will have to decide yourself.
3. Keep in mind the role and purpose of your car, the road conditions in the areas you will be driving.
4. Remember, not all premium or insanely expensive tyres are "the best for you".
5. Do not settle for anything less than a tyre genuinely manufactured in 2014.
