No offence to anyone, but under the current scenario, new Civic is bound to fail, not only because its way too expensive for its class (& locally assembled) but in Pakistan due to fuel cost high powered sedans are failure, take the example of Altis and 1.6 Baleno. I am not sure about Altis, but Baleno 1.6's production was stopped within first year.
Another reason which is definitely contributing to deteriorating the situation of new Civic is wide variety of imported cars.
I guess, Honda people should have done their homework well before the launch of the Civic, it seems they are still in the delusion that they are in era of 3 years back.
The value of all locally manufactured/assembled cars are depreciated due to imported cars. Look at the own on Corolla, once it used to be above 100K on XLI/GLI but now its under 50K and old Civics are selling like peanuts.
