Hello. I am about to purchase a 2012 Honda FIT ...... I need your guidance to make sure that I get the right car.... it is for my wife and I do not want her to get stuck on the roadside.
I am told that many used cars are imported in damaged condition and repaired over here. I don't have a problem with this because I think we have very good body work specialists. I am not too sure of the engine and suspension. There are rumors that the meters can also be turned back.
Here are some questions.
Are there any signs to look for if the engine is repaired?
Do I have to check any particular areas during the inspection?
Anything that can tell us that the meter has been turned back?
The seller says it is GP1. What does this mean?
They say that FIT does not have a spare tyre. Is that correct?
I get two keys or just one? I understand that spare keys can be a problem.
I read on the posts that there are 8 spark plugs. Is that correct?
Any other guidance in checking out the car would be welcome.
Thanks.
