UPDATE ON WORK DONE BY HYUNDAI TOWNSHIP MOTORS (MECHANIC NADEEM):
I got my CAM sensor replaced and also got my Santro tuned from Hyundai Township Motors. I went to Gujrat Via GT Road and the mileage results were very impressive. I had an average of 17km/L without AC on GT Road, with total of four passengers and CNG Cylinders. This average also includes 2 hours of stop & go traffic that we faced on GT Road, and so, i believe that if we had not been stuck in bad traffic for 2 hours, I could have easily done 19KM/L. Also, I am now using only Hi-Octane for my car.
I was having Petrol Average issues with this car, I have mentioned this problem in another thread which can be found here, https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/hyundai-kia/265208-santro-poor-fuel-average
I have visited MAGIC MOTORS, Mr. Sadat (So called Santro Specialist), Abid tuning Centre in Faisal town & Huyndai Sajjad Motors Jail ROad.
All the above mentioned workshops did unsatisfactory work resulting in waste of money.
Again, the best mechanic is Nadeem in Hyundai Township Motors. But , please one thing, do not leave your car unattended with any mechanic , even if it is Hyundai Township Motors. The reason why I am saying this is because mechanics will take out your Original Sensors and will replace them with defective or Chinese Sensors. I am not saying that any mechanic has done this to me, but it does happen, so be please always stand by your car and if for any reason you have to leave your car, close your hood and lock your car.
The reason why I am saying this is because, normally mechanics are selling used sensors and parts (I personally have purchased two sensors and front shocks), and I sometimes wonder where are they getting these sensors and parts to sell. So, the only thing that came to my mind is that either they are buying from Bilal Gunj (Which is fine) OR they are stealing stuff from customer's cars, by replacing the genuine parts with chinese and defective parts.
Now the question is where are they getting these defective sensors and parts, the answer is very simple, when people replace their bad sensors or parts with new ones, your mechanic will keep the bad sensors or parts if you do not ask for it. And then when you or someone else go for any repairs to your mechanic , they will simply swap them, and in the future sell the genuine Sensor or Part to someone who needs it.
