Hi. I have city aspire 1.5L 2016 My question is does the rigidness of steering wheel depends upon the car being 1500cc or 1300cc. Yesterday i used my friends city which is just normal city 2010 not the aspire one and its steering wheel was smooth as butter. My city is new just 1month old and the steerig wheel is a little off like its very minorly hard. But still there e is a difference. Does this happen?
might get softer as you drive more...
Have you changed tires to wider ones? What sort of rims were on your friends car? My father changed our city's steel rims with alloys and it became a little harder.
I am fairly certain that changing the tyres to better ones will improve your experience

Using tyres and rims of specifications which are not approved as per requirements would result in hard movement of steering wheel

Alloy rims come with aspire. I think that might be the issue
Bro.i have city basic model bought in may 16.i also feel that the steering is hard.i changed the tyres also.so went monday fsd to honda chenab where i bought it.i told them about the steering hard isuue. The warranty claim man test drive my car on road 30 min.with me and said the steering is ok and refused my issue.when i told him that i call to atlas honda he agree to check eps via computer.computer show my eps is ok.He offer me to drive three city waiting for deliver.i drove them and belive me my car steering and other three city steering behavior same.So don't worry....I think its manufacturing issue or our wahaam
i have a query about honda city's steering wheel can i replace it with honda reborn steering wheel?
Did you check your tyre pressure?
Just inflate your tires slightly more and then check the response.
The rigidity of steering wheel is sumwhat till 5000 to 8000 after that it gets buttery smooth my experience this initially rigidity or you can say it hardness is solely due to all rubbers and seals new with the passage of time you r gonna observe it as smooth as this state!
