A Suzuki Margalla is a surprisingly good car. I have driven a few over the years and i never cease to be amazed at how stable they feel at ALL speeds including speeds in excess of 140km/hr. They have excellent handling and have beautifully predictable brakes. Performance on CNG is excellent as well and the vehicle climbs on steep slopes ( such as Pir Sohawa on CNG and Five people EASILY. My 2007 City on Petrol has a harder time climbing Pir SOhawa while a Margalla does it easily without braking a sweat. It is also economical with the CNG consumption on 55kg cylinder easily exceeding 180km on highway.
All in all it is a good car and the ones who drive it ( such as me come away impressed).
Margalla is one of the best kept secrets in Pakistan. It offers honda Civic type performance a cost that is several times lower. It may not have the glitz and glamor of the newer cars but its machinery is able to deliver on all counts such as handling, braking, comfort, pick up, performance on cng.
Cars that are maintained properly are also reliable and margalla is no exception to the rule.
The above are the reasons my friend, why margalla continues to enjoy surpisingly high resale values and why people are soo hesitant to sell them
