Finally someone who makes sense to me. I used to drive a carburettor RX7 (that would be a permanent member of a mechanics shop by todays twisted standards now wouldnt it) but no - the 4 barrel nikki carb and simple twin points ignition was all it took to fire up in the morning and work the whole way and back too. (I was not a fan of the original AC in it)
when I saw the first ever supra7 swap in karachi I already told the guy that hes burning money - and he learnt it the hard way.. broken bones (no seatbelt etc)
people just dont get the idea of attacking a twisted road in an RX7 - the feeling is indescribable, I used to wake up way early in the morning to take my old 7 to some twisted roads I knew near my house. Ahh what a joy that was.
its just a gorilla syndrome I beleive that somehow having a monster engine in a tiny car would get you the hottest ladies (all Ive seen at the race tracks are a bunch of guys though)
believe it or not Ive seen a 350 (chev smallblock) swap in a FB in Karachi - that car had traction issues all the way even with a 9 inch ford diff and ended up a basket case standing dead with no engine later on. (it used to have an original engine before the swap)
