because many people mad their linence throught "rewist"(througt wrong way may money to traffic police officers and lincene is in your hands) so no many did not knows about high beam voilation if we know rhe police law it has all the law against any traffic problem byt no implications in our country
@ hash4u............bro although a nice topic but dont be biased towards corolla....there r way to many cars out there driven with high beams....specially civics with HID kits...
@spectra.......bro when u use the high beam in corolla....only two(2) bulbs work as high beam....the other 2 remain as they were...ok...........so dont think that all the 4 bulbs work as high beam!!
cheerzzzz
@usman_20, I also think that only two bulbs work in high beam in new Corolla. I have been trying to find this in owners manual but could not as got busy in other things. It is not just Corolla but all cars create problems for other drivers on full beams
Good post bhai, this really is an issue and I can't figure out that why is this problem with the corolla drivers and not with the civic? The people here are jahil, they get the cars but they don't know anything about driving manners, and it's also because our thullas don't take this into account........
@usman_20My father has a corolla 2004 in stock condition, all 4 beams light up at full beam
@ spectra...bro ur right all the bulbs light up......BUT only 2 work as high beams the other 2 as i said before remain as normal lightss
@Usman,I am not being biased.Yes i agree some Honda drivers use high beams and even HID's in 2 way traffic(Fools). But please note the fact,Honda ki high beam Ankhon mai chubti nahi.Where as Corolla beams completely Blind u out!!!Read my post,i said Corolla is higher then other cars.Maybe that the reason why it has lights that come Straight in your face, in your cars cabin.very annoying....Thank u all for such a positive response. Appreciate that : )
i own a corolla. to tell u the truth even its low beam is pretty sufficient in city driving with street lightss on. the other point is that due to this car financing by banks people who used to drive rikshaws etc. are now driving corollas. so the mentality of our lot remain the same as the rikshaw wala. so thats the bootomm line. improve literacy and people will automatically understand.
Oh exactly...people ( some ) are cruel in this regard. But I feel that some people are forced to keep their beams high to focus on road because of opposite side's high beams...its is not a Lahorite or Islamabadians factor, this habbit is much more related to people of faisalabad and sialkot..( I dont know what complex they have)i had to go twice from Lahore to sialkot for some official visit and i coulf not find a single vehicle moving with their beams normal( from Gujranwala to sialkot)I tried to remain in my "citizenship" but I was forced to keep my beam high as it gave me some clearance for moving ahead.so not one single's fault....Not the Corrola's owner's fault, but we lack proper traffic education
@gttx hi rickshaw walas are also human beings, what about so-called foreign educated doing it also? I think we should be decent and spread awareness about good driving habits and politeness is an essential ingrident of it. I am sure that our friends who have glanced through discussions or given their valuable comments at least would never use high beams, be it Corolla, Civic, Suzuki or any other car in any city of Pakistan
HIDS RULE!
@usman_20What i am trying to say is that when 2 low beams are switched on, its okay, when u use high beam, low beams should stop working. That will make things better. In spectra when u use high beams the low beams are switched off and only high beams are switched on.
chill guys,,,,,change ur topic tooooo civic user who create the undesirable sound from there engine,,,i think they are breaking the law,,,most of the time
bump
@hash4ureally gud thinking mate...i really agree with you...not only corolla but it applies to any car..no one should go for high beams in normal conditions....but lemme say one thing...i came to pak last yr nd concluded that with or even without the high beams you cant see clearly in lhr...its the combination of dirt and STREET LIGHT which are either blown off or simply dnt exist, that causes poor visibility...but it does not mean we should drive with high beams...it only cause problem for other drivers thats all...
@waseem & gttxboth you guys are talking almost same thing & is really important thing...doesn't matter who's driving the car whether rikshaw wala or educated...sab ko poora haq hai ke gari lay aur chalain, problem is the knowledge about the road safety and driving...jab tak pakistan main ziyada tar log illegal license ya us kay baghair hi driving karay ge tab tak kuch sahi nai ho sakta...
