I have not been able to locate my Coil CJ thread so here goes again. I never got to test drive it but hopefully one of these days.... I finally managed to track one of these down. Its a CJ7 converted to TJ Wrangler shape with leaf springs replaced by Toyota Landcruiser 70 series coil spring suspension. The Jeep is owned by mechanic Imran Ustad who spent a painful amount of time getting the suspension geometry right. I am told that the Jeep has very good handling but the conversion was done and redone several times with bits of a TLC frame welded onto the extended CJ7 frame. I believe this Jeep was completed sometime back in 2002/03.

Go on to GT road toward Tarnol, much before the railway line you will see a yard on your left below. Can't miss it, especially if you are being driven there.
