The Civic regardless how well its been taken care of will be a 5 year old car at the end of the day. The person who has owned it for these 5 years has enjoyed the maintenance free or minimal maintenance period and you will most likely start running into repairs going forward.
I personally was in a similar dilemma and ended up going for a 0 meter City because it seemed most Civic's in the market were either heavily touched up or the meters were reversed/noisy suspensions etc. The clean/decent ones were all 12lacs+
Sir there are also good Civics in Karachi, my 05 EXI PROSMATEC is 80K, CNG on 50K, without a single touch, Honda Maintained.
My CEO also has a VTI Oriel UG PROSMATEC 06, Honda South maintained, 50K Petrol, not a single scratch, schauffer driven.
If one cannot maintain his car he will have to buy a new car after every 2-4 years or ask the same question again.
