hey guys,
I am stuck in a bind here. I purchased a zero meter mehran few months back. It doesnt have cng, onl petrol. Now after using it for some time, I am very much unsatisfied with it.. the ride is very uncomfortable specially as I have to travel for like 1.5 hours everyday. gears are hard and the car feels just too small. The AC doesnt function too well either.
I am seriously contemplating getting a used sedan, so I can at least have a comfortable trip, as I need to travel a lot every day. But my dad is advising me k though it will be more comfortable, you wil become a mechanic in no time and wil have to spend a lot of time in workshops and bla bla now i am confused..
I did some research here and found that the following cars would fit my budget (within 600,000)
- Nissan Sunny (00-03)
- toyota corrolla indus
- Liana 06-7
- Baleno 2005+
- City 01
I am looking for a proper car with trunk. NO HATCHBACK
i am more inclined towards sunny because it feels like a proper sedan more than the others and I like the appearance and interior.
So what do you guys suggest?? Should I go for a second hand car as old as I mentioned above.. wil it be really that difficult to find one that is well maintained and not have to be taken to the mechanic every other day?? Are they worth their prices?
Also which of the above 5 should i preferably go for? My personal preference is sunny but I am open towards other choices also.. Liana would be good too, but I have read that there are a lot of problems on CNG. and many people say baleno and liana are both flop cars.. I intend to use CNG because petrol is too expensive for long distances that I travel every day. Indus and city seem like a good choice but they would be at least 10 year old as per my budget
I am not concerned about resale value. I just want a comfortable car that wil last me for about at least 5 years down the road, without have to be taken to workshops frequently.
