As a City owner, let me share with you that the mileage of City A/T is not as the Manual version. I have daily office commute of 10-12Km and it gives me 10.9-11 Km. It has improved over the years from 8.9 to 9 and now this. Have had two long tours in past. One gave 14.5 and other 15km/l. These figures are taken from both On-Display and actual fuel/distance calculations and both tell the same story
its is an essential trait of Auto tranny. This engine is economy-wise good but the A/T version is at par.
However belta is CVT plus most versions are 1.0L. So it would technically give better economy. But you know the basics, CVT means no CNG and less resale because of market inability to maintain/troubleshoot such transmissions.
P.S. I am neither against CVT nor against JDM vehicles. Putting resale/maintenance factor aside, on smaller engines, CVT drives better.
