Salam pws. Recently a customer of ours reffered some one to us.And so on...The guy own a ee90 with 5efe .. carb..Cut welded a 2e intake manifold on 4efe manifold.. well the manifold had no leak. Or any air leaks..The only problem the carb gets over feuled... the car is using its original intank feul pump.. the feul pump is weak.. yet powerful for a carb... I experented and installed a T..But failed...Any suggestion ?
5E-??-?? carb engine ? are you sure ?
i don't think it should get overfuelled because of the fuel pressure, maybe its a faulty needle valve
You need a low pressure fuel pumpCarbs need like 3-5 psi
Even if the 5e pump is weak it would still be putting out more than 15 or so
Another thing to check is the needle valve and float mechanism
I worked on a d16 carb. . It was "modified" to run on a carb
One **** day that was
Yes its a 5efe 2nd gen... converted to dizzy setup and carburetor..
i once heard of a guy who bought a bmw with electrical problems, he got a new manifold and installed a carb
Same story ..
@margallar stop tuning to Radio Guppistan please, because last bulletin i heard ove that channel was 4 honda 50 cc engines installed over 4 wheels of a Estima doing 80 kph with 8 passengers seated heading for muree.
i wonder if the custom manifold is good at distributing the fuel equally to all cylinders, otherwise the car might need a rich mixture
The manifold mount side from 4efe and rest is of 2e
