Mehran is good only for local duty, like bringing sabzi, gosht from nearby market or take to congested places where you do not want to take your Corolla.
I bought a brand new VXR Euro II for home use in March 2013 and have driven it only 10,000 kms in three years, but believe me it is a torture to drive, steering is very hard, lot of play in gear lever, too much engine sound and gear box sound, too much kharh, kharh and chou chua and dug, dug sounds.
AC is good, it runs fine without any trouble, gives at least 17 kms liter in city and same on motorway if you drive it at 110-120.
But the worst thing is that it gives a very bad pain to your right leg. I had to drive it for four months continuously as waiting for my new Altis and my right leg gave me so much pain that I could not lift it even to change trouser and had to visit doctor several times and three months course of medication and physiotherapy made no difference.
As soon as I started driving my new Altis the pain started receding. My daily office run is more than 50 kms (round trip) and believe me when I reached home on Mehran I could not put my right leg out and had to lift it with my hands and it pained so much especially knee.
A colleague in office also faced pain issue with his Mehran E2 and he is selling it now. I have no experience with Mira but have read some good reviews at Pakwheels. Give it a try I have heard it is comfortable and fuel efficient car.
