ya its good.. they should indtroduce now.. i will be very valuable. chevrolet is the one of the best automobiles in the world .. and the price is really affordalle.. we should appreciate this.. we are waiting to see chevrolet in pakistan. inshallah
Where did you get all that info on the Chevy Exclusive? Anyway Chevy Exclusive is not an "all american car".Its a Korean car with an American Stamp. Originaly manufactured by the Daewoo group under the name "Daewoo Mitz". Daewoo went bankrupt and was acquired by GM Corp USA in 2001 and hence all their left over stock was also acquired by GMC. Everything about the car screams KOREAN and nothing about it is american xcept the name Chevrolet.
but they also should introduce 100% american made cars like chevrolet lumina, chevrolet caprice, chevrolet malibu, chevrolet trail blazer,, and GM other brands like , caddillac , GMC, subaru etc.
this is daewoo matiz, it might be good on fuel economy but was a complete flop in Australia not only it has very small engine but also because of the saftey reasons. eventhough it comes with std dual airbags and seat belts it was always sold under AU$12,000. Quality wise it is better than Alto but still falls in same category and for inner city driving is fine with it.
Taking it on freeways , well its drive at your own risk.
actually u both are wrong it is not mitz, not Matiz, it is Matiz II.it will be available with a 0.8L 52Hp engine.
and the second car would be DAEWOO KALOS 5 door Hatch back(also known as Chevrolet Aveo) it will be available with a 1.0L 63Hp engine
Daewoo Kalos
i think if Aveo (AC model)is priced less than 600,000 than Cultus' days would be numbered. Also suzuki doesnt have a new model to replace Cultus (the 1998-00 model was only available in 2-dr) suzuki wont have any other choice but to drop the price by a huge margin.there is still time no one knows suzuki(Japan) may introduce a new model this year.
Salam guyz.Yeah var under discussion is good untill you need any spares for it. A person in pindi hit a footpat with this car due to which it's wheel bearing needed to be replaced. The said spare costs at most Rs 500 for a very good car normally present on our roads. The bearing for the chevorlet was priced at Rs 7500. Yeah its 7500 not 750. This is what happens when don't have any parts in the market.
