Gentleman, anyone who is intrested in buying a super bike, I have some info which might be of some use. I have been trying to secure a decent bike for months now and lemme tell you what I found out:
The Rip Offs:
- Suzuki GSXR 750 , 1990 model, NCP , asking 250 000! insane or what!
- FZR 400 genesis, junked up, NCP, asking 120 000!
- cbr 400 1995, very decent, CP , asking 300 000!!
- Honda CB 400, 1997, NCP, asking 100 000
- Honda cbr 600 F3 NCP , asking 250 000
- Kawa Ninja 900, 1995, busted crank, CP, demand 250 000!
- Honda VFR 1990 , demand 200 000 ( dunno if its CP or NCP)
Now the good deals:
- Honda fireblade 900 ,CP, 1996, asking 350 000
- R 6 1999, NCP, demand 250 000
- Hayabusa 1300 No papers, 2000, demand 700 000
- honda cbr 400 1995, NCP , demand 180 000
- Kawa Ninja 636, 2005, CP, demand 550 000
- 1989 suzuki 400, NCP demand 70 000
And this is all through contacts and info finding from friends not your showroom models, which are insanely overpriced as they are:
Showroom prices
- R 1 1999, CP, demand 650 000
- Cbr 900 fireblade CP, 1997, demand 490 000
- Suzuki SRAD 1997, 750 , demand 450 000
- Suzuki 400 , 1990, CP, demand 280 000!
- Kawa Ninja 636, CP 2006, demand 750 000
- suzuki Katana 600 . CP, 1996 ,Demand 450 000
This should give all of you a good idea of whats out there in the market, gives some idea of CP and NCP bikes aswell and also an idea that some ppl think you have an IQ of 70 and try to RIP you off like theres no tommarow. My advice , do your homework before you get something, as you will be selling it eventually and a dep of more then 30% can do heavy damage, thats if you sell it at all!!! unless daddy happens to be a rich man, in which case you should be hopping down to Must bikes and picking up that Ducatti 999 for 1.5 million!!! happy ridding!
Cheers!
