No car's transmissions are alike. If you take a same make and model of any car, that is Automatic VS Manual gear transmission, there is a difference of pick/acceleration. Both the cars can be driven at a fast pace/speed but the pick on a manual car is at the mercy of a driver, One can lock the gears from 1st to 2nd to 3rd at thier own descression, dependin on the acceleration being applied at the pedal. Where as the automatic transmission cars change gears (automatically) only when a certain RPM is hit/applied at a certain speed, so ofcourse the pick matters there.
Automatic car on Cng is the same story, but due to the Gas and Not Actual liquid petrol, the Engine that is designed to handle petrol only will feel the lack of physical push against the pistons, to make it work faster. Yes on the other hand if a cars engine is designed only for Natural gas(CNG), then there might be questions resolved about the pick on the cars cars with CNG, and more over why do we forget that cng at this stage in Pakistan is a source of economical value not luxury. As it help the public thousands in gas prices at the petrol station.
Can anyone ever imagine a Ferrari on CNG! that is the reason why. Power is Petrol.
There are Automobile makers like Honda In USA those have made hybrid cars , those run on petrol, and on electricity. Same concept as our cars on cng and petrol, but you actually have to charge your cars motor/ battery. The same problem, the performance is compensated when the driver switches to electricity.
So i guess these hybrid technologies are in thier initial stages, in most of the countries whether it be USA or Paksitan.
Hopefully in the near future we will see a huge change in these technologies. But we need innovative mind and interested engineers to give thier time to this research with the help of the governments to improve this technology.
Thank you hope this give some inshight .
