Guys i was planning to buy a honda city 2005 model. When i checked out the market rate i found out that City Vario (Petrol) is available for 650,000 Rs and City Manual (with CNG) 2005 is available for 725,000 Rs. I decided to make a math question to help me out in deciding as to which one is the better option?
Question)
City Vario 2005 (Petrol) model can be bought for 6.5 Lac Rs and City Manual (With CNG) for 7.25 Lac Rs. Now lets make the following assumptions:
1- Average of City Vario(Petrol) is 10km/Litre.
2- Average Cost of driving Manual City(CNG) remains constant at 4 Rs/ Km
3- Price of Petrol remains constant at 60 Rs/ Litre.
4- The driver drives 1000Km each month.
After how long (time in months) will the manual city (CNG) become a better option than a Vario (Petrol) in terms of the money spent on both cars?
Guys this question really helped me out in deciding which car to buy. I have solved this question through a mathematical equation. I want all of u to plz give it a try. See how good u r in maths
Lets see how many of u are able to solve this applicative math question...
