Its good....but I think the new 125 will beat it in sales coz its offering front wheel disc brake....Disc Brake is Very Important coz when you are going FAST you also need to Stop FAST.

125 is more sleek looking too.

Front disks r meant for slowing down from high speed in a straight line. Using disk break in a 125 is not a good option because 125 has less weight for disk breaks to operate. disk breaks works best when there is good weight of the engine or in other words works good with a heavy engine like 200 or 250 cc. In a 125 cc bike, I dont think its a good option.

a well read technical person told me that the advantage of disk brakes are that they dicipate heaet more quickly and thus are more reliable and fade free under heavy braking...
therefore, braking performance on short braking is almost similar but the result shown under hard braking...
its all about power to weight ratio...

The disc brakes have different categories....different caliper sizes..etc. etc.

I am sure the brakes on 125 are there to stop the bulk of a 125 and not of a 250cc...like you can have the examples of 1990-92 Kawasaki GTO's looks how succesful the disc brakes were on that bike.

@Saifi....the problem you said that while braking hard you might end up under your bike...well that depends on the braking technique....you gotta have just the right combination of the rear and the front brake so that you wont fall over and yet stop.

hmm, according to my information GS150cc has been a pretty fine success sales wise but GS125cc has failed to make its reputation in market,i think due to honda 125.

i know u pplz wont beleive this but i have pwnd the CG 125 with my sprinter 110CC in short run...on the WALTON RUNWAY in lhr...actually when the race started my bike gave me a flying start and i touched 80 in 2nd gear and 100 in no time..but as 125 does go to 120..my bike remained on 110 and hence the other guy won but on LONG RUN...and there was a GS 125 too there and when i was drivin tht..there was no way for CG 125 to win...SUZUKI ROX...

in my view point SUZUKI is the best choice at the moment...its giving the required power and MILEAGE as well...dont know abt other models but my bike (110cc) is giving me a mileage of 62-65 KM/Litre,aint tht more than enuff for a 110 CC??and it costs just more 8k than a 70..yes just 62k.
