    salam all brothers.my name is kashif and now days i am searching for new but powefull bike.
    i am thinking about suzuki GS 125.
    can anyone tell me about its quality?
    its problems?
    i read about some electrical issues.r they true?

    i recentely sold my hero RF 70+ 2009 in 37k.i am tired from old look of cd70.its a crap.

    my main problem is milage.my total running is about 75-80 km per day.
    suggest me a good bike.i want to get rid off pakistani and chinese bikes.

    i want quality.

    any brother help me out.

    1st of all, a BIG NO NO to the Suzuki GS-125, its pointless going for it, rather go for the 150..

    If you want best fuel economy, then go for Suzuki Sprinter or ECO. to my knowledge they have the best fuel economy.

    If you can sacrifice a lil on economy, then you can choose between either a Suzuki GS-150 or the Ravi PIAGGIO Storm 125... in between these two, your personal requirements will matter, i.e. ur riding style, duration, etc .
    Suzuki GS-150 suits longer duration rides, whereas Ravi Storm is more suited to shorter within city rides.

    Price wise, u get more value with a Storm, if only you can manage with the scarcity of dealers..

    well i am gs 150 lover..
    but i dont like its shape..so i want to change its body and rare sespention..
    i am keen to shift gs 150 engine to a bit attractive body like gsxr 250.
    what do u gys say. help me with suggetions.
    well i have seen some one in karachi modifing honda cg 125.. but i want 150 to be modified

    then which bike has beautiful shape, which is available in the market ?Inasmuch as i know its shape is Preferred .u can compare any bike to stand with it.yes deluxe is good looking bike but gs has own style .

    look bro sorry for my RUDENESS.
    I like modifications n i appriciate and realize the effort put in by people for modifications.
    but come on if you have a chasis of a GSXR 250 then why not arrange a biger engine !
    only if I have a non custom paid thing then I might consider using a smaller 150 engine
    get my point.

    DISAGREED !
    if you talk about beter shape then it depends on your own prefrence if you like a choper style bike then yes GS has a more better look comparitively than others in the market.
    but if you prefer sportier looks then PIAGGIO Storm 125 has more convincing looks.

    gs 150 is great.. apart from its fuel economy.. it gives 32 to 35 km per liter.. baki thek hay. gs 125 ka koe faeda nahi...

    Unfortunately we dont have much choice in pakistan when it come to motorcycles.

    I have purchased Suzuki GS150 last week as my first bike so naturally I am thrilled with it!

    So far everything is going great, beautiful motorcycle, very easy to ride (as I have only ridden Honda cg 125 for learning).

    With low running costs, modest but useful urban performance and funky retro looks this bike can meet your exceptions. The riding position of the bike is upright and comfortable, you could sit on it all day. Its really really cheap on fuel I've clocked over 290km on a full tank and still didn't need to go to reserve.

    Its a great bike for learning how to ride. It is a lot of fun and cruises nicely. the handlebars giving great confidence to lean over and to counter-steer

    I've got it up to 110 kph, but I had to drop it down a gear from fifth coz it's a small motorcycle with no wind protection, it's hell when you get on the open road, especially in the windy areas where I am learning (karachi beach) and overall bike braking system is horrible as well. so avoid speeding. Keep in mind this is not a sports bike.

    These bikes are the 'classics' of tomorrow, so if you have one, hang onto it

    @streetdevil Just curious (cause I booked my a GS 150 yesterday and will get it by 12 July) you got your bike last week and are doing 110 (what happened to the break-in / running period)

    forgot to mention when i went to book my GS 150 yesterday its price went down from 90600 to 88500 :-) imagine the surprise :-):-):-)

    i got my bike on installments & there's a plan that if you choose the last payment option on their "installment sales schedule" & pay within 5 months no markup :-)

    I would Prefer Suzuki 150cc because the Shape of S150 is awesome it looks like heavy bikes

    Well there are many theories and opinions on how to break in your new motorcycle. I followed manufacturer’s recommendations on break in. I was strictly riding at 40 kph for 800 kilo meters and 6 to 8 hours a day (I know it’s weird “6 to 8 hours” but I was free from my office and had nothing better to do. on the other hand you can’t imagine how much fun it was to ride a motorcycle). Even at 40 kph.



    Anyways after 800 kilo meters I was exhausted and tired of babying my motorcycle so couple of times I beat the hell out of it on straight road of DHA phase 8.


    My advise for your new bike



    • Always Use Caltex patrol.
    • Change its first engine oil at 500 kilometers. (People at Suzuki say use shell engine oil and change it at first free service but many experts recommend first oil change after 500 to 600 kilometers and Caltex havoline 20w40 for GS-150
    • At time of taking delivery inspect your bike properly. As my rear fender did not line up with the rear wheel as it should.
    • Check for the alignments of the Fork T section and handle bar. Some time although a new bike still it may come with manufacturer defect or something some showroom may try to sell you defective product deliberately.
    • Take your time to inspect the bike fully. Check all fiber parts and metal to point out if there is any scratch or dent.
    • Check rear and front brakes as well
