    Cool My Suzuki GS150 Euro-ll

    Hello everyone,
By the grace of Allah, I have purchased my new ride GS150.
Previously, i have owned CD70 (used around 2000Km only, sold because of too tiny engine for my needs)

My second bike as most of you here know was Junoon. Used for 11000 Km , a very nice bike. Did a lot of long tours on this bike and it was wonderful companion. It is in family use now.

Because of my touring nature and "Need for Speed", this time i went with the maximum CCs available in market aka GS150, Alhamdulillah it is my third bike in one year time period
I haven't used it much yet, so can't tell much about it yet. But i have found it amazingly vibration free and silent.
Here are few shots, please say Mashallah

    List of Changes/Modifications Done
-Rear Panther 3.00-18 tyre replaced with Korean Golden Boy 3.50-18
-Rear 1.6 rim replaced with deluxe 2.15 rim, also got the rim painted from inside during the process to prevent from rust.
-Front 1.4 rim replaced with 1.6 rim to better compliment the front 2.75-18 tyre, also got the rim painted from inside.
-Both front and rear mudgards coated with compound from inside to prevent from rust.
-Installed a safeguard, had to use clamps from a sanitary shop, because bike's frame pipe was so thick that the clamp which came with guard wasn't fitting properly.
-Removed plastic part of front mudgard as it was jamming the steering when front brake is pressed hard because of less clearance between it and frame pipe.
-Made two small holes in side tappas and used cable ties to tie them with frame pipe, just as precaution, because i noticed many GS without side tappas and owner told that they just flew away when riding at high speed.

yes bro, it's the same tyre.
while buying the bike , i wasn't sure if i should change the tyre immediately of wait for running to be completed, but as soon as i came out and used the rear brake, i knew what to do
This tyre is excellent in grip, and all in all i am finding combined (front and rear) braking power to be more than my Junoon's. I chose my bike from almost 15 bikes and one of the main things i checked was brake shoes adjustment with drums
Many thanks to vicky and omer for their guidance and feedback in tyre selection.

The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.

BWP mein bhi hai, but for some reasons, it suited me more to buy from pindi
this bike is really well balanced and vibration free. It's fun when my friends ride it and then get confused which gear they were in among 5 gears , sometimes they are even trying to apply 6th gear

Gull bhai nice to title to your bike Silent beast
Bro is this your first self start bike?
how is your experience with self start?
    are you enjoying self start?

I think Suzuki should introduce cosmetic changes to this bike
they should make its looks better & attractive
and this bike must include Disk Brake

Yes this is my first self start bike, and it works pretty well. On cold engine at morning, it might take 1~2 second push (my bike is parked inside room at night). Then rest all day, it starts instantly in no time.
As far as disk brake goes, i am not sure. I am happy with its front brake. It almost jams the tyre already. If disk brake is installed, then a good imported tyre will be required at front as well to effectively use its braking power as current panther will just skid away making disk useless.

Good! Being an owner of Black Bike you must keep it clean and shiny. Use good quality polish/waxes. Tyres need extra care in winters and use WD40 over chrome parts specially in fogy weather.

    Masha Allah... Mabrook on purchase.

But being an owner of suzuki 150 2008 model. I am very disappointed with the brakes of this machine. It is very poor from the side of brakes. Ride safe.
