    Cool My Suzuki GS150 Euro-ll

    Hello everyone,
By the grace of Allah, I have purchased my new ride GS150.
Previously, i have owned CD70 (used around 2000Km only, sold because of too tiny engine for my needs)

My second bike as most of you here know was Junoon. Used for 11000 Km , a very nice bike. Did a lot of long tours on this bike and it was wonderful companion. It is in family use now.

Because of my touring nature and "Need for Speed", this time i went with the maximum CCs available in market aka GS150, Alhamdulillah it is my third bike in one year time period
I haven't used it much yet, so can't tell much about it yet. But i have found it amazingly vibration free and silent.
Here are few shots, please say Mashallah

In morning, when engaging first gear, bike jerks (like clucth is not fully pressed). Problem goes away once it moves for a minute or so , and then all day it works fine. Mechanic says its because clutch plates aren't lubricated, once oil get to them you are good. Most probably he is right but never had this kind of problem with Junoon.
any other GS user facing this issue???

now i need to do something about inaccurate speedometer, it seems crazy when needle goes beyond 120.
i have noticed a small problem with the odometer (small one), and suzuki guys are willing to replace the whole left dial for that
i hope i get accurate meter this time.

The best oil you can currently procure is Liqui Moly 4T 20w50 ..pkr 650 1L pack from i8 markaz islamabad..I changed my oil last time with this lube and have done 1200 Kms but it is still viscous just like new,,though the oil has gone dark a bit(it is doing its job displacing internal slag)..I would highly recommend ye this lube..Not too hard on pockets and not comparable with any local brands available..Go for it..

The drain interval is 3k Kms..But i am thinking of changing it at 1500 Kms(maybe 2000)..I am checking out its viscosity every 100 kms or so and hopefully this oil would clock 2k easily without degradation in viscosity.

I came to this conclusion that these bikes we own mineral based oils are better,,i have been running my car for last 18 years on mineral oil and thus are perfectly suitable..Maximum you can do your your bike is get a semi-synth(quality oil) which you wont find anywhere..Take zic for example many ppl got clutch issues with that oil though it is supposed to be advanced..The Point is it depends on the quality of oil,,the blending additives and whether the oil is 100% virgin(not refurbished)..LM is manufactured in germany, imported,is 100 % virgin and good blending additives, better pour and flash points..I am not going back to local oils(peace of mind)..It is a mineral oil and is better than all available local ranges..I was also LF 10w40 LM semi synth but it was unavailable as people dont like to invest 900 rs on a quality oil..Your ride your choice. You have plenty of options..

    Default Meter Problem

    as i have mentioned above,
bikes smaller odometer is giving incorrect readings, also the accuracy of speedometer is not good. so i managed to get it changed from suzuki, but now the newer meter also have the same problem, and its accuracy is also same as the earlier one.
i have checked CG125 Euro2 meter with GPS , and it barely has the error of 6-7km/h at 100+ speed, while mine has the error of around 18Km/h at the same speed.
    what to do now??
should i try to change the inside of the meter with CG125's meter???

EDIT: newer meter is comparatively accurate. my bad

Gul bhai no problem with your GS Mechanic is right & has logical argument
i think higher CC bikes does this. Every engine has different behaviour
Gul don't compare or contrast GS engine with Junoon engine
