Default PS Launches Suzuki GD110 Bike

Pakistan Suzuki has launched a new breed of 110cc bike. I saw the launch event news on Aajtv.

The launch price of the GD-110 has been set at Rs. 99,999. The bike employs a 4-Stroke CDI engine which complies with Euro II emission standards.

The launch ceremony was attended by dozens of company dealers, who had been informed that Pak Suzuki is working on higher engine motorcycles and may launch more models soon. However, the Pak Suzuki MD declined to provide any specifics when asked if and when his company intends to launch more variants.

Company officials say the company’s focus will remain on the youth; and, for that, the company will soon launch a heavy marketing and media campaign.

Most parts for the new model are imported from China due to the company’s wish to launch the motorbike soon, Nagao said while examining the engine of one of the three different coloured motorcycles launched by the company on Tuesday.

More info, pics, specs coming soon, stay tuned!

So guys what you want to say about this bike. At the moment I can only say Choota Veer Of Piaggio (younger brother)

The price 99K is at a higher end as compared to new bike, 110cc and design.

As per the looks are just "ok"

Seems a better product than Raider. But what's the myth behind the Flat/straight seat of every Suzuki bike. Is it comfortable in PS view?

Pathetic way to Launch a model. Website has not been updated yet. No technical specifications available.

I own sprinter and if I would like to go for this new model. On what ground I should make my decision. What is the advantage I will gain apart from the new engine. Will it be more economical in fuel consumption as compare to euro II sprinter engine.

It look pretty similar to sprinter standard a part from the engine and the rare shocks. Thankfully they have increase the space and increase the length of jumps. Bike will be much comfortable now.

Keeping in view the features and simplicity of this bike, 60,000 should be its maximum price, also keeping in view the demand and sale of 70cc china bikes which are its competitors features wise.

Alhamdulillah Its a good news this is completely a new bike
Raider was cosmetically enhanced bike engine was same
this is whole new bike with new engine never driven by us
but yeah really shameful no information on their site regarding bike
they should update their site immediately & provide technical info of bike

Yes price is high but as in news mentioned Pak Suzuki has imported many parts from China
as they wanted this bike to launch quickly so if they get good response they may built its parts here
So they may reduce price although chances kam hi lagte hai kiyonke yeh pakistan
hai yanha agar kise cheez ki price barh jaaye toh kam nahein hoti

Bro please feel the reality, as the value of Pakistani rupee has declined in last years, therefore keeping in view the price of GD110 in Phillipines i.e. 48900 peso. If we covert this price in Pak rupees its Rs.1,16,871/-.

So if P.S introduces the price Rs.99,999/- then I think at introduction it's a good price as compared to other countries.

Same old tragedy for us. No self starter, No alloys, no disk brakes. In my part, I simply cannot digest the front wheel, smaller 17" and look how much it is away from the body, look the whole bike and then focus on the front wheel, clearly not suiting the bike as far as I think. May be technically it is good but for looks it is failing.

I would love the engine, side covers, silencer and the rare jumps.

    Thumbs up Wonderful!

A whiff of fresh air in the 100/110 cc category in Pakistan. Previously we have had flat-lying engine heads in this category. It is the first one with an almost-vertical engine-head placement as in 125cc engines. Mechanical experts here can shed light on the advantages it would bring.

Talking about the current package, if the exact same bike is available for sale in Pakistan as shown in the pictures, then I am happy that Suzuki is giving a good build-quality which would somewhat justify its reasonably higher price. And in this price, Suzuki should promise a fuel average of at least 60 km/l. Moreover, I like the fact a trip-meter is available on it.

Personally I think the seat design could have been better, and they should have featured a tachometer and front-tyre disk brake. Had these been included in the offer, plus the fuel economy, it would sell as hot cakes.

These days I am considering to buy Suzuki Raider 110cc after my 2010 model Honda CD 100 is sold out which I am currently commuting on. Now this new machine by Suzuki is tempting me to buy it instead of Raider. But I will wait till more information/reviews are available.

Good work and good luck, Suzuki. I want monopoly of Honda be broken which would urge companies to introduce innovative and quality products.
    First deserve, then desire.
