Inshallah this time will keep this bike for 2 years at least, after that if some bigger displacement bikes are launched then i might replace it. If no bigger bike is launched then will just keep it and grow old with it.
my bike is more than 2 years old now and 15.5k done but I am still loving it and no plans to sell it until I get something better than this
people need to grow up sometimes and act MATURE !
How much this bike performance as compare to honda cg 125 deluxe 2010?
-But Deluxe vibrates at 90+ speeds, while GS will cruise butter smooth even at 100Km/h.
-As i mentioned earlier in my Deluxe thread, GS feels more stable at 100Km/h than Deluxe.
-GS engine is more powerful. If going slight uphill with 200Kg weight on Deluxe, it starts choking. While GS don't struggle much.
(Note that above comparison is with GS having a 100/90 tyre at the rear)
thanks for your reply
could u please tell me about
& spare parts
& after sale service
I am planning to sell my honda deluxe cg 125 & purchase suzuki gs-150
Maintenance is more or less same like other bikes. what you wanna know???
fuel average is around 40Km/lit.
spare parts and after sale service shouldn't be a problem in Lahore. Locals can guide you better.
Thanks a lot for your opinion
@gull bro same here.
Main bhi yahi chahta hoon k bike itna arsa rakhun k apny grand son ko dikhaun k beta ye bike main apni jawani m chalata tha.
By the way my bike is 4 years older than me i.e 90s model.
U wanna grow old wd ur bike but ma bike is already much old.

Although If I had to choose I would go for paiggio its like a having both in one ..
but if I end up only in b/w these two ..I would prefer GS over Deluxe any time because I have spent some real through and detailed time with deluxe... ... Gs is way better performer it only lacks Disk brake and that shame full tyre in rear...
and yes spare parts, service every thing available in Lahore...
by the way let me tell you some latest updates about Deluxe
AHL is more then just worried about there Dlx sales because after the price reaching to 1.20lack and CG power-plus intro with euro-II the user switched to paiggio (which is way better and loaded like JET fighter with equipments in such a low price and good quality), and CG lovers shifted back to power-plus which killed the sale SUPER badly I came to know from a long time friend and a showroom owner that this is one of the major reason they are planning to completely redesign there deluxe product to reduce price and give more options like paiggio/GS/GD and they have received serious heat from there head quarters for screwing a product which after half a decade of little to no sales did some sales but pinned back to floor with the price hike..
he said he sent back deluxe 3rd time after displaying it in showroom no body even bother to ask about it ..
I hope they would come up some thing good...
According to my research I finally calculate the following
Description Honda CG 125 Deluxe Suzuki GS-150 Engine 4-Stroke OHV cooled by air 4-Stroke air-cooled OHC Displacement 124.1 cm3 Bore & Stroke 56.5 x 49.5 mm 57.0 X 56.8 mm Compression %age 9.0 : 1 9.2:1 Wheel Base 1278 mm 1270mm (50.0 in) Starting Kick start Electric/Kick Ground Clearance 136 mm 155mm Petrol Capacity 12 Liter 12 Liter Tyre at Front 2.75 - 18 42P 2.75-18 42p Tyre at Back 90/90 - 18 51S 3.00-18 47p Dry Weight 112 KG 119kg (262 lbs) Transmission Continuous 5 speed mesh 5-speed constant mesh Frame Diamond Type Steel Dimension(Lxwxh) 2032 x 758 x 1097 mm
so finally decide to buy next Suzuki GS-150 Inshallah
GS dry weight is 116Kg. And petrol capacity in reality is 14 litre, but on manual it is written 12.
@gul_s_777 How could i even miss this post lol,,,i had my last semester exams so was MIA from pakwheels....With you switching back to GS now i have no doubts,,if ever i went for 150cc bike (and if RP 150 is not as sporty as hyped,,but a clone of RP 125) i will buy GS 150 eyes closed.
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.
My uncle is using brand new Euro 2 GS150, bought one month ago and 2000 km driven. He says he is achieving upwards of 45 km-pl to an almost unbelievable 50 km-pl.He drives mostly on straight roads at speed of 80 kph on fifth gear. Do you think he is calculating wrong or this average is possible.
BTW i wanted to know does stock light-bulb provide good illumination on nights. Also can a HID light be installed on stock battery or bigger 7-15 Ampere battery is required.
