    Default My New Ride: Suzuki GD110

    UPDATE 06-06-2013
    300KMs done. First oil changed and now Its more smooth
    Fuel average will be updated in 1 or 2 days.

    =================================

    It's a Gem as compared to whole industry of Pakistan
    (Testimonial for this bike by PAKISTAN BIKERS CLUB)
    =================================
    UPDATE 27-05-2013
    ---------------------------------
    Well today I took a good ride on this bike on a silent street where there was no traffic. And guess what?????? This bike has no sound at all. So all those friends who wants a bike with heavy sound don't go for it. Well I love it. I'm kind of sophisticated person and I love being subtle in everything, so this is my type.

    Read this info in the image.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Here my bike on a separate Thread

    Yesterday I bought Suzuki GD110.
    Here's my experience of a very short ride from Akbar Road to N.Nazimabad.
    - Very smooth ride
    - Shocks are very responsive.
    - Very nice soft comfortable seat.
    - Nice height and weight of bike.

    Masha Allah. Congratulations brother! The bike looks absolutely stunning.

    I currently have a 2010 Honda CD 100 and a few weeks ago (before Suzuki GD's launch) I decided to sell it in favor of buying Suzuki Raider 110 as I am a proponent of trying out good quality and less sought-after things (example being my Honda CD 100 as it was not in much demand when I purchased it back in 2010).

    However, after GD110's launch and your feedback on Suzuki Raider's quality, I have decided to go for Suzuki GD 110 instead as we will never get this build quality in this bike once Pak Suzuki decide to produce it locally.

    Just waiting for my CD 100 to sell out and my salary to buy it . You are overall the first one here to buy Suzuki GD 110, I am looking forward to becoming the first PakWheeler from Lahore to own it.

    Please guys pray for me to be able to make this purchase soon as I can't wait to ride this beast!

    You told that you have sold your Raider to purchase GD110, my
    question is that what was the purchase price and then sale price of your Raider?

    Don't ask yaar loss a great amount.

    IADina:
    Please also mention the engine condition when hot. Normally, engines start giving horrible sounds like timing chain, tappet sounds, etc. when hot. What is your experience so far in this regard?

    Why on Pakwheels people always after the Top Speed, BHP and Sound of engine? We don't have to go for race in busy traffic . I mean seriously do you guys ride your bike at 100+ km/h on the way to your office?

    And what about the comfort on way back to home after the tiring day at work ?

    Friends I need you advice about following:

    1. Tips for Break-in / Run-in period. (Like what max speed and other stuff you consider)
    2. How to protect chrome from rust and dullness. (apply wax, diesel, wd40 or Turtle wax chrome & Metal Polish)

    I will be very thankful to you all.

    our bikes are not designed for this kind of speeds, they are not very maneuverable at high speeds and their small drum brakes and skinny tires doesn't provide enough deceleration. Plus to survive a fall at ~100km/h you should be wearing proper riding gear. just the helmet might not be sufficient. may Allah keep us all safe from all kind of hazards and accidents.
