No need to worry. Bikes during break inn period do give less mileage. As soon as 1000km mark is reached get your bike tunned and it will give better mileage

As far as I know fuel capacity is only 9 liter of tank. Which I think includes reserve as well.

i would say measure again, from reserve to reserve. This time when it hit the reserve, note the reading, then put fuel in it (5 lit for example) and use it till it hit the reserve again. Then check how much Km it goes in 5 lit.
This way you don't have to worry about what's the total capacity of tank, what's the exact amount of fuel in reserve etc...

How it can be? If I get reserve and petrol pump is 2 or 3 Kms away and I get fueled for 5 liters then next reserve would be 2 or 3 kms earlier. No?

I am also working on an algorithm to calculate its mileage. One thing is for certain: you need to consider the mileage covered under reserve for an accurate value of its fuel consumption rate. However, if you try to refill fuel as soon as your bike enters reserve mode, the distance covered under reserve fuel can be ignored and you just need to consider the mileage travelled from the point of first reserve to the next reserve. I think you can ignore 1 - 2 km as it makes 2 - 4% of the expected average of 50 km/L. So try to refill fuel within a maximum of 3 km of bike entering reserve mode.

It is hard to calculate fuel average by considering the distance travelled under reserve fuel, as in that case you need to measure the fuel consumed too besides the distance travelled, which is tricky. So our best bet would be to keep reserve running under control and ignore it for fuel average calculation.
    First deserve, then desire.

Let's suppose if your bike's consumption is 50Km/lit. (or you may call it X or whatever)

Case 1: So your bike hits the reserve at 2000Km (Take reading). You immediately put 5 litres in it. And it will hit the reserve at 2250Km (Take reading again). Right?
So you covered 250Km in 5 litres. 250/5=50Km/lit

Case 2: Your bike hits the reserve at 2000Km (Take reading). No pump nearby, so you just drive it on reserve for 50Km before you refill. What happened here... you consumed 1 litre from reserve also. Then you go and put 5 litres in it and turn the knob to "On" positon. 1 litre gone to reserve capacity automatically, leaving behind 4 litre for use which will give you 200Km more and your bike will still hit the reserve at same 2250Km.
So again, reserve to reserve 250Km in 5 litres.

(So yeah, your next reserve will the 2 or 3Km earlier as you said if you take the reading after putting 5 litres. You are supposed to take the reading when you hit the reserve)

Gull bhai Case 1 is accurate & better

waise i take 1liter bottle with me when patrol finishes i give chock & again try to run bike
when the bike completely refused to run than i fill one liter patrol in bike & note reading
if i am on highway than again i get patrol filled in battle so when that 1liter patrol finishes (reading noted)
i can refill the patrol & go without trouble

in city i do same but i don't carry bottle i don't live in big city
so mostly patrol pumps are nearby luckily patrol enki kareeb hi khatam hota hai

No need to worry. You have ODO meter in GD110. When bike enters reserve zone just reset the meter to 000 and then refill it with 5 liter (for example) and ride it again . when it hit again the reserve then note it down simple

Last time i went to a PSO pump took 200 fuel and GD gives me 70Km in 200 petrol .. I was in shock .. Changed the pump and get 200 rupees petrol and it gives me 101km in 200 rupees fuel. in these 101 KM i drove 30 km at the speed of more then 80km/h ..
