Default Maintenance : Ravi Piaggio 125 vs Suzuki GS 150

    Salam brothers,

I am new to this forum and would like some information about the two bikes (RP 125 & GS 150) mentioned in the title of this thread. I have explored and read almost all threads regarding these two bikes but couldn't still make up my mind regarding which bike to buy. So i need guidance from the experienced people here please. I have a few questions which i will put up and hope to get help with the solution soon. Here it goes :

    1. Which of the above bikes has easy maintenace ( which means going to mechanics less and economically ) ?
    2. Which of the above bikes has the better engine in terms of performance, reliability and engine life (as i am planning to buy the bike for long term) ?
    3. Which of the above bikes has better fuel consumption ?
    4. Which of the above bikes is a better daily commuter ?
    5. And how much would it cost to replace the rear tyre of GS with a bigger one and install discs on the front (as i am tilted a little towards GS, so just want to know) ?

Your help and guidance in this regard will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

Also how much originial one will cost??
how much Km on your GS odometer and how many times have you replaced this timing chain???

Any other GS user with 15000+ on odo can confirm if he needed to change this item???
ALHAMDULLILAH I have much more than 17000 kms on the odo of my bike but never faced this problem of the timing chain. I have never taken the bike on long trips but I regularly push it to the limits. i am hearing this thing for the first time that the timing chain needs to be replaced after every 12000-15000 kms. my cousin is working in Suzuki taxilla motors and i regularly stay in contact with him. he owns a gs125 2011 and a gs150 euro 2012 and both are much much more than 20k kms on the odo and they also never faced this timing chain issue. the members who have faced this issue, there might be some reason for this. not every bike has this issue. and out of 100, there is a chance of 10-15 faulty bikes having some issues that may show up when bike is a bit old.

It is written in the GS150 manual bro so my approach is to always follow the manual

Well it depend on bike how you keep it
sorry forgot to tell you name is Mamoon from Azad Kashmir. about Gs my opinion is different becoz i have Honda CG125 since 2003 that time i purchased about 64K but in 2010 i been hunting for a bike coz i went to RWP i found Ravi 125 over their and some GS's then from 2010 to 2013 i was searching on bike like which is better coz Ravi's have Disk in front rest its kind of type R and Gs's are like Cruiser so after keeping both bikes at home for 1 n 1 week for each i found Gs is better so i purchased GS in 2013 but its 2012 model you now y Gs 2012 ka wait is like 110 i think but Euro ka weight is 110 so Gs150 2012 is much heavier much in grip much in good breaking much in comfort then Gs150 2013 Euro to

and also now its been 5 month i am looking for Ravi's part even i have contact with the head office they said that right now they dont have any part but i have an Good news for GS lover i now how to Upgrade Gs like fornt Shocks, Disk brakes, if u want to contact me you can on this number 03455472285 Rest its up to user what he wants from Bike and those who are saying that after three month masla karta hai to this is not so true main neh March main liya tha to ab tak 0.000000 Fault came out
