    Default Project Suzuki GS 500

    Dear All,
Finally after a lot of search i bought myself Suzuki GS500 its 97 model and ISB registered. When i bought the bike its engine was good what bike needed was its full cosmetic restoration. Rear left indicator and cowl was broken so i planned to redo it fully. Bike was bought in Ramadan and disassembled in the same month but i was too occupied with office work and progress on bike was also very slow so couldn't upload the snaps. Its still in restoration phase so thought to share it with all of you but be patient because this might take some time. So, below are the snaps of the bike when i bought it, its tank was redone because of rust and stuff.

I need front brake pads for my gs500, can anyone tell me where can I get them in Lahore. I would prefer new part rather than kabli/bilalganj

Very good move. It is always better to buy new parts than source it from Bilal Gunj. At the end of the day, original parts will always last longer and will be more reliable. I have replied to your pm and inshallah will get a new genuine part for your gs500.

Hahaha. Thanks bro. I am happy to help anyone anytime with whatever limited knowledge I have. Apparently someone told me that they can get any part of gs500 from Maclore road and now they are trying to contact me via different people in order to get the parts . That one kabaria guy knew nothing about motorcycles and yet some fools have appointed him as their technical advisor. hahahahaha

Bike still running on stock pistons.Difficult or i would say impossible to fond a gs 500 with perfect engine .Sooner or later an overhaul shall be due
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.
