Default My brand new Suzuki GD-110

    Dear Friends;

After making discussions a lot, at last i have purchased Suzuki GD110 blue by yesterday Rs.10,7500. Very nice bike with many benefits as discussed. As i have backache problem, so it is also good for me because of its very nice suspension system.
Dear GD owners, please give me tips to maintain the bike especially during break in period.

dont use liqui moly oil in break in period because u need to change the oil frequently. after this use liqui moly oil for best experience and dont allow the machanic to open ur bike carb during tuning because new bike dont need carb cleaning INSHALLAH you. got great milege and performance

My view is absolutely opposite than what above is posted by a brother!

Pour out the very crappy SGO oil which is like water, throw it away!
Pour fresh 20w50 Liqui moly racing 4t. Your bike needs the best lubrication possible during its breakin period and even after that till the engine finally fully grindes and polishes its internal parts and they fit in peefectly.

Id suggest liqui moly oil to all new bike owners for first 5000kms of their bikes!

Otherwise u never know when ur bike developes sounds of connecting rod and weight bearings....

    Drive below 40kmph - max. 50!

Avoid double sawari as much as possible

Stop ur bike after every 1hour of drive for 10mins and let it cool down

Drain ur oil after 500kms for the first time and then after 1000kms for each drain.

You should drive slow for 1000kms atleast(some manuals say 1000miles i.e. 1600kms) the more u take care, the better engine adjusts and results in its long life.

Never use oils bought from small vendors, do ur best efforts to obtain original oil from original company outlet!

For all local oils bought from authorised dealers i recomend a drain interval of 1000kms, i dont recomemd SGO oil to anyone, for liqui moly i suggest a drain interval of 1500-2000kms but change ur oil filter on or before time (also note that kixx and zic oils are overated, their result has been shaddy)

Dont let anyone mess with its carb, only use shell petrol from a good, reputed shell pump, change fuel filter after 5000-8000kms.(This is Pakistani fuel, forget manuals)

Get ur tappets adjusted properly from authorised mechanics only!

    MashAllah Many Congrats Nice Bike

Some important points for break in period
*Drive slow 40-50km/h (But don't drive constantly at single speed vary speed)
    *Avoid sudden throttle quick acceleration
*Avoid heavy load on bike or avoid pillion rider as
*Change first oil as soon as 200-300km or max: 500km than 2nd again after 500km
later on you can change oil every 1000km as this is considered the best
*As this bike has oil filter i would suggest you to change oil filter also while change oils in break in period
after break in period what i have heard from suzuki owners you can change this oil filter after 3000-4000km
not necessary to change it every 1000km

Masha Allah. Congratulations. Welcome to the GD family.

Don't rev it hard and don't drive it past 40 km/h during the break-in period. Also, do not ride it at a constant speed, keep varying the speed. That's all you've got to do!

Enjoy your ride and be safe.
    First deserve, then desire.

Bro the experience has been really good, im using liqui moly and since then i never tried anyother oil!
And even though i drive my bike daily on a fast and long route to my office, its engine power and sound has remaimed the same.

Its been doing 70kms daily for the past 5 months, mostly driving at throttle fully locked!

Yaar topspeed varies depending upon tappet settings... Max it showed 98 on speedo on a flat road, 101, 102 down the underpass... Mostly it stucks at 90 or 95.

On wide open long roads i guess the air pressure is more so all bikes dont reach their best topspeeds no matter how long the road is...
It goes max 90, 91 on long open wide roads.

On gps i got 88 or 90 i guess whereason meter it was showing 100
