They should improve the quality of GS if they are increasing the prices.

Its a proven fact that GS150 has one of the best engines we have in Pakistan, and probably THE BEST in Commuter Category. The features it provides vs. the price it offers (even after increasing 5k), its still stands as Far head of the competition.

THE ONLY PROBLEM ... Suzuki's behavior of Not Listening to its customers, and Not making any improvements to its products are major factors due to which its not getting that much fame. Plus, the mindset of our consumers is another reason ... that says Honda is Honda, and baqi sub ... well, you know.

My only point is ... don't be surprised that they have increased its price by 5k. MAKE A COMPARISON WITH THE COMPETITION, and you will notice that GS150 is STILL much cheaper (and economical) as compared to others.

I am saying this again and again that Suzuki should have a classic as well as a deluxe version of GS150
A Deluxe with a sporty shape and disk brakes with alloys and a classic version
Classic for 120K and deluxe for 130k

I know right? :p Thats what i am saying. Suzuki doesn't pay any attention to customer feedback ... Apparently. Because if they had, we won't have those minor issues every GS150 customer face on a brand new bike ... even after all these years that product has spent in open market.

Also, do you really believe if Suzuki makes a "Deluxe" version of GS150 ... they'd ask 130k for it? THINK AGAIN. Idar log separately disk brake wagera fit karatay hain to atleast 10k ka nushka hay. Jab company fit karay gi ... to price bhi tripple ho gi itnay se kaam ki :p

BUT you know what ... they can start offering "Customized Products". Companies all over the world do that. Customers getting brand new bike from show room, and then asking directly to company ... to fit a Disk Brake, Wider Tires blah blah in it. THAT is something which NEVER fails ... NEVER.

But then again ... its Suzuki.

On a side note ... you know whats REALLY admirable? Ravi Piaggio listening to its customers, even if it took them a million years. But they did, and i am sure a lot of people will be pleased. ME INCLUDED. I can see that my only major complaint about Piaggio's Rider Position being awkward, is gonna go away because now the seat seems higher, and the handle lower ... than the previous models. So personally, i am really really anxious to take a ride of the new model.

a week earlier i bought new gs150 in metalic color paid 114500 pkr,
previously own 2010 model in red color but my nephew liked it so have to gift that 1 to him.
i compared the previous model with newer 1 and this is what i found.

    1) better rear light
    2) carrier at rear.
    3) euro 2 device
    4) softer seat

apart from this nothing new all same.

same issues found which where present in 2010 model.

    1) plug coil underneath fuel tank have poor clips
    2) poor front and rear brakes adjustment
    3) same slim rear tire.
    4) faulty speedo meter cable

frankly i didn't find any thing else wrong with the bike.

all these problem where solved within hours of taking the delivery of the bike. how? because i know what problem are there in this bike.
also told suzuki reps abt this but according to them bike come from factory like this and they sell them exactly like this.
i agree with all of u that suzuki should keep good eye on their assembly line.

i am not a fast rider but some time i do ride fast.
front and rear brake are easily fixable u just need a good mechanic to fix them for u, mine works like charm.
reason behind this all talk is to me i still find it cheap and effective bike which can run for longer time without any problem if we just take little care abt it.

every day i see lots and lots of rider here in karachi doing circus on road, guys with hids but with fused tail light, without turn signals, without brake light, without rear view mirrors, riding on fast tract with complete family of 4 kids and a wife on speed of snail,
    most importantly without helmets.
people just don't like to spend on important stuff but will go for altering the bike engine in order to beat other rider on the road.
this not only seen on old bike but in fact on new bikes too.
so do suzuki see or any other bike manufacturing company see people in pakistan care abt safety on bike, BIG NO.
so why should they bother improving their items.
once i went to buy new car and i ask do u have air bags in it and they said no sir we have abs in this car but our top of the line variant do have air bags, so i asked do u think person driving in this car have lesser value of the life compare to person riding in top variant and believe me they said if u care abt yr life so much buy top variant. damm
i went and bought my self a used jdm.

    take care and kind regards
Help others so that u can be Helped

I do not own GS. I came to know here from a Pakwheel fellow and a mechanic.

May be these tappets cant be called as Auto but GS's tappets have springs which regulates tappets on its own and this is something different from CG.

Also Suzuki bikes like Junnon have timing chain adjuster.

Sir, where and at what point I mentioned that these tappets never need adjustment till the judgement day? They have springs which in my little knowledge auto adjust tappets to a limit and after reaching the limit we need mechanic hands.

Again please see that I do not own GS and I have just heard from a GS owner a mechanic. And instead of laughing at someone or making a taunt please come with something informative and correct me on real grounds. These laughs and taunting won't help here anyone. Thanks.

Again please see that I do not own GS and I have just heard from a GS owner a mechanic. And instead of laughing at someone or making a taunt please come with something informative and correct me on real grounds. These laughs and taunting won't help here anyone. Thanks.
