Default My Experience with Valvoline Champ 4T in Suzuki GS150

AOA fellows couple of days earlier i did first change of oil in my recently purchased GS150.
and for the first time i use any 4T oil in any of my motor cycle.
valvoline is not a new brand for me i have used it in past valvoline xld 20w50 api sg/cd in my car, genset, motorcycles , and never had any complain from this oil , in fact was very much pleased with its performance but it was out of market for several months and for that reason i shifted to mobil special. now its back in market and importer has informed me that this time they got bulk quantity of it so no worries

so this time i got Valvoline Champ 4T 20W50 API SG, JASO MA2 for my Motor cycle.

my experience has been very very good till now rode 200 hundred km on new oil :

    1) engine noise has been reduced to minimum,
    2) gear shifting have become extremely soft
    3) no heating issue what so ever, bike is not feeling hot even after 25 km non stop ride to pma in afternoon
    4) more responsive engine and certainly no feeling of any type of drag in engine.

read some where over internet that riders have stretched this oil upto 2.5k km on their rides without any problem,
but for me 1.5k km is quite good for this oil.

    now the price factor.

paid 300 rupees for 0.7ltr can, 3 can for rupees 900 can do good 2 oil change with the intervals of 1.5k km on gs150 hopefully without any problem. ( have run bike on valvoline xld for 1.5k with ease) .

i am so impressed by the performance of the oil that i went and bought yesterday 5 more cans to keep in stock.

will be replacing soon the red gs150 oil with this 1 for my nephew to enjoy the ride more better.

here are few pictures of the can i took today morning.

    take care and kind regards.

update on oci of Valvoline 4t Champ ,

its has been practically checked that Valvoline can easily be use upto 1.5k km and changed above 1.5k km without any problem. recent oil changes in gs150 and cd185 twin has proven that 1k km oci is too less for this fine oil .

I also learned about AutoWay workshop from some thread here on PakWheels.
I bought three bottles of 0.7L couple of months ago, that are still unused, as I am waiting for the summer season to arrive. I don't care for oil in such a cold weather and just using Total Hi-Perf 20w-40 these days in my 125.
I'll update when I use it in my mcycle.
OK thanks do update your experience once u use this oli.

    Hi amjad635,

As you know, our products are now also available on line via Online Shopping in Pakistan: Electronics, Home Appliances - Jambo

They have a minimum order policy to cover the cost of delivery throughout Pakistan which is Rs 1000. This unfortunately means that our smaller packs like motorcycle oils cannot be ordered in single units. Maybe you can place an order with 2 or 3 friends to take your order above Rs 1000 ?

Thanks and we really appreciate your business !

Size: 96.1 KB after reading the whole thread I decided to switch to valvoline. My bike is 5400 kms used and from day 1 I have been using ZIC m7 10W-40. I got the SGO that came in bike drained immediately after I came home from showroom (12 km max) and from then onwards was using ZIC.

ZIC is a good oil but its not good for long rides. Recently I have started making long trips on my bike and I feel after getting hot ZIC somehow looses its performance.

Lets see how Valvoline performs for me

Sure I will but I still have 400 kms remaining then I will drain zic and put valvoline in it. Quantity shouldn't be reduced check for leaks

After reading many reviews regarding valvoline oil I am sure it is good oil but I am using Liqui Moly since last 6 months and I am more then satisfied with it I mostly used my bike for long rides/trips and I never feel any change in performance till start to end I mostly changed or drain it after 2000KM I witnessed all above qualities in it which you mentioned about Valvoline

Rode 71 kms today with Valvoline 20W-50 champ 4t. Acceleration was really really smooth and sound dampening was also amazing. Its a very good oil compared to ZIC

I think I am gonna stick to it now
