Default Suzuki GD-110_ some work done with mudguards and kick lever

    Dear friends;

I did some work with front and rear mudguards and also to reduce the sound of hitting the kick lever to foot rest lever.
To protect the engine and foots against water splashing. This flap is originally of Suzuki Sprinter.

This has to done to protect my back against water/mud splashes by rear wheel. This flap is originally of Honda CD70.

This has to be done to reduce the "tek" sound of kick lever. This has been made of cycle tube which is very strong and long life and has a great cushioning effect.

But yar ye saali petrol bohet peeti hay. I drive it 70-90km/h and its mileage is around 41-44 which is far less as compare to my old sprinter which mileage was 55-58. I could not aspect such very low mileage. Hay koi idea k mileage kaisay improve ho?? Abhi ye 2800 cheli hay or mein nay 1000 pay tuning kerwai thi or Liqui Moli lube use ker reha hon.

Actually GD 110 is Suzuki's entry-level motor-bike which is why they are offering auto-clutch model so as to enable new learners to ride it easily.

In Pakistan, usually people learn on a 70 cc machine. So a 110 cc engine is something in our biking scenario. Furthermore, auto-clutch would only have added to its already too-high a price.

@TZB! Can you do me a favor and do a test? Fill up your tank with High Octane ONLY and start to measure its mileage. I am pretty sure the fuel average problems GD110 owners are facing, is because of improper fuel. Though its still a theory at this point in time, and i can't say anything until you guys tell me.

@abobobilly I don't think pouring hi octane is for bike which has compression ration higher than 10 using it in a bike that does have high compression ratio will result in worm out seal, valve etc etc in long terms

I am not getting you, what are you trying to say?

Hi-Octane is meant to use in high compression engines.

Also, i read some time ago that OHC's compression at same rate, is higher than OHV's compression. But i need someone to correct me on this. @Xulfiqar probably!?

    Kher Mubarak, bro.

Welcome to Pakwheels and GD family. Congratulations on the purchase of your GD.

Unfortunately, you'll have to live with its poor fuel consumption.

    Enjoy the ride

In my new GD, i changed first oil at 300km with filter, second at 600km with filter and 3rd at 1000km with filter. At start, i used Caltax and after 1000km, i poured Liqui Moli and changed it at 3000km odometer reading (mean after 2000km). I found Liqui Moli the best motor oil. Next time i will change the oil after 2500km.

For new engine you need lighter grade of oil. Shell AX-5 15w-40 is reasonable and so is zic 10-40 (if bought from reliable dealer).

Yes. In new engine you should use Caltax or shell but after 1000km then you should use Liqui Moli which is available in 1lit pack in 20W-50 and Price Rs.750/-.

Sir, mujhe kya pta tha k ye bike itna petrol khati hai. Lekin koi baat ni. Mene ye to sirf apny SHAUQ sy li hai. Aur normal use k liye meray pas 70cc hai. I used to drive my GD once in a week. Otherwise, it is parked inside the store room of my house, not in the garage. Because i love its ride & drive, so i am not much worried about its fuel consumption as i dont use it regularly. And i hope k waqt k sath sath is ki consumption b theek ho jaegi. Abi chali hi kitni hai meri gd, just 188 kms in around one month.

But sir according to Hajoue Suzuki, the mileage of GD is 70 km/l then why the mileage of our GD's is between 30-50 km/l. And one more thing which i notice in the picture of gd on their website is that it is fitted with a totally different & simple carb as compared to the complicated carb of our GD's. What is the reason of this difference in carbs? Experts plz help.

GD ko 50-60km/h ki range pay chelain to phir avg almost 50-53 tek aa jati hay but if drive it hard then 38-40km/lit.

I have dropped a mail to Hajoue China and Suzuki Pakistan too and waiting for their answer. I shall share when i receive any feed back. Suzuki Pakistan say to koi umeed nehen kiyon-k hem Pakistani bes cheez baichtay hen us k baad ki koi zimma dari nehen.

No reply either from Suzuki Pakistan or Hajoue China up till now. Suzuki Pakistan nay to dhanya piya hi hoowa tha Hajoue bhi chersi hi niklay. I think Hajoue nay Pak Suzuki ko hi mail refer ker di ho gi. Hem Pakistaniyon ka bhi koi haal nehen. Hemen just sales say gherez hoti hay. What happen after sales, jayyy bhaar mein.
