I believe you should look for a deltabox chassis from old CBRs or FZRs, look for bike scrap dealers in your city. Your engine may fit good in CD200 chassis, but your concern should not be weather it fits in, but that whether CD200 chassis will be able to withstand the higher rpms of your engine. I believe your engine has much higher rpm range than that of a Roadmaster engine. Fitting the engine in CD200 chassis may result in vibrations that can be felt by the rider while riding and make the ride less exciting.
P.S- Our member vickytulla has good restoration experience, maybe he will further put light on your query.

Do you guys think a cd200 or a cd175 frame would handle this project... i know i will have to do some major surgeries ! But will it hold ?

I know its hard and tough to do all this Khuwari ... But one should not loose hope as this is is the only way ,Youngsters fulfill there dream in Pakistan

    (Y) with your project ... Deltabox chasis would be a very good option since those bikes were equipped with the 4 cylinder engine and high torque engines ....

Ask vickytulla ,he is mighty good fellow in sourcing the old stuff ... !

Quoted the guy 10k for a 175cc frame and 40k for the 500cc. All prices actually being negotiable.

Not arguing about 175 bro..10k with title is a fair price but 500 is a bit off, prices are not subject to increase with displacement !
