    Smile Al-HamdoLillah! My New Suzuki GS150 -

    AOA, Everyone,
At last after a very intense research on PW forum, i bought my new Gs150 yesterday. I am new to this forum and writing first time as i was a silent reader of this forum since last six months :-) . I was so much confused between the two bikes Suzuki GS150 & RP Storm 125 but finally i felt that i should for GS (@12gauage's thread "Tour King" also helped me to take decision---- Thx for posting such a nice thread) . Both the bikes are really good, RP has been equipped with more modern features than GS but i like the overall calssy looks of GS, missing very badly disc brake in it.
So friends, running period has been started onwards, and i'll update you guys regarding the performance/problems oftenly.
One more thing please, i want to install round shape winkers and back view mirrors as the stock ones are not according to my taste and effecting the overall look of the bike, i know Honda CD 100's winkers will be fine but i couldn't find the round back view mirrors on Murree road today here in Rawalpindi. 12gauage is requested (as your are also lives in RWP) to please guide that where i can find those steel round shape mirrors in RWP & ISB coz wherever i asked the shopkeepers for the same they all were showing me very cheap mirrors of the same company and only one mirror for the right side (interesting:-)
So here is my new monster!!!!!!!

Oh dear, bro i can almost guarantee that its the connector fault. Battery aisay nai kharab ho jati next time you face this issue tell the company to check connection from alternator to rectifier. Turn on headlight it will be dim. Adjust the connector as soon as headlight becomes bright you'll know that now connection is good and charging is being done

Well alkandar, everyone has its own preferences and likes. RP is also a very good machine equipped wiht more modern features and sporty looks e.g. front disc brake, fuel gauge, dipper etc.. but personally i like the retro/classy looks of GS with great comfort as compared to RP and as mentioned by bro hamikhan.

i think suzuki would continue this model for 2 to 3 years as it has been slightly changed in the current year (may be iam wrong) but in my opinion u should go with current model if u interested and u'll definitely enjoy the ride iam sure...

Today changed the engine oil (Liqui Moly) at 400 kms and clean the oil filter with kerosene oil. AlhamdoLillah no more issues yet except that traditional "Khatak" sound which comes once or twice in a day and disappears automatically, normaly, when shift the gear from neutral to 1st (I think it comes when engine is not properly warmed, though, i always warm up the engine for three to four minutes before drive). After the oil change the bike is more smooth and lesser sound.Overall i like the ride except some quality issues that are common like poor paint quality and very pathetic chrome there is already stains at chromes area which shouldn't be at this level of bike/price.

Normally Per Liter mileage is 45 to 50 if you push it hard means drive it on 100+ speed then it becomes down to 40 KM/L

Well this problem really exists, i've choosen my bike among 10 to 12 bikes, every bike has the same issues, but if u can live with it then its really a good machine to ride and hope after riding it these issues will not be remained primary for u.... and the rust problem is not a big deal u can use WD-40/chrome polish in order to avoid rusted areas and that won't be increased.
