    Dear All,

I have completed 1100 Kms. I don't have any issue. Everything is Masha Allah perfect.
I just need an advise regarding oil.

I am using shell AX5 (15w40). Bike still heats alot and vibrates at 5-6 rpm. First i ignored because it was a new engine. Hence it is still new but break in period is no more now. So, need advises that is that normal or time by time it will be OK. Or should I change the Oil with thicker grade?

Don,t use any 15w40 or 20w50 oil for your ride at this time you can use any of these oils after 10K
because these are thicker oil & suzuki bikes does not like thicker oil

I have used this shell AX5 15w40 in my GS once bike engine was become heating so was shifted again to zic
Bro use zic M7 10w40 sythetic oil for your new ride synthetic oils are far far better from any mineral oil synthetic oils film are very strong & does not break easily & zic oils have A ability in them they always clean carbon inside from engine & does not deposit carbon inside the engine

You can start using this oil before your first 5K after this you can not

My elder brother is using zic M7 in his Suzuki GD110HU from start he is very very much satisfied from this oil

When he was shifted from SGO to Zic his bike pick up was become to double

Zic M7 is the best for your ride this is a open heart suggestion

No doubt zic m7 is a best oil if got the original one. but zic m7 is a synthetic oil. and avoid synthetic oils in break in period. As far as i know. may be im wrong

And regarding 15w40 and 10w40 oils. they work same like in summers as both are w40.

shell Ax5 15w40 is a premium mineral oil which is best for break in. but heating and vibration is still there with a loud engine sound. i dont kno if i made a mistake and chose Shell AX5 for break in period

The Shell ax5 15w40 looks suspicious from it's packing like its a refilled oil or something like that. The bottles i have seen in the market all have oil stains on the bottle like its previously used even the shell company operated petrol pumps and metro have the same kind of bottle's..

Try shifting to some other oil and check if it does the same thing again.

A 20w50 oil will effect these things as it's a bit heavy oil.
Else you can try ZIC M5 it's 20w40 oil you can place the order online at zicoil.pk. This will ensure that the product you get is orignal.
ZIC M7 10w40 is also good. If you have completed your bike's break-in period then opt for ZIC M7.

    Hi,

I am really happy to see some nice support from PAKWHEELS, which lighten up my dark side and I wasn't even aware from this.

This is my first bike in Pakistan and first ever post related to bike in forum I was confused between both Yamaha YBR and GS-150 but I choose the simple machine and I m really happy with my decision. But the problem is that I have never had a bike before so lack of information regarding bikes and mechanics. I have faced some bad people and they chipped some extra money from me.

So I m expecting a little help from all of u guys as a brother

I have done 6200 km so far and Mashallah bike is very smooth and can easily touch 90 on 3rd gear, but I have 2 questions,

    1. I have tried different oils, Suzuki authorised dealer (mr. Shehzad) on Waris Khan, murre road,Rwp, (next to PARCO/TOTAL petrol station) he told me to use SHORLEY OIL imported from Dubai. I used this oil till 5000 km, then I met a bike mechanic (mr. Fayyaz) in SUZUKI CENTRAL, Sawan, GT ROAD, he changed my oil to SUZUKI OIL, he told me u r using wrong oil And I m still on it but I m still not satisfied or its just in my mind? Coz I can feel a noise and missing of acceleration between 8-9000 RPM.

    2. Same guy Mr. Shehzad made me to buy big rare tyre (looks like trail bike tyre) which was bad decision and my tyre didn't align in straight position coz of tyre width which didn't fit in and touch chain cover if u align straight. Which is bit scary coz my bike bubbles on hard braking. Mr. Fayyaz (from SUZUKI CENTRAL, SAWAN) he gave me an advice to change the tyre and give this tyre u bought from coz he sold u the wrong tyre due to lack of my knowledge, or change the rim of rear tyre with HONDA 125 which is smaller in diameter and can align straight with the same tyre.

So, I m sorry to write a whole story, but I want to clear my self to give u a best imaginary pic from my side. I hope any brother could give me a best advice on these 2 issues. What should I do with oil n my rear tyre?

Sad to hear your story brother. You can use oil of any well known brand like zic and shell ax5 is also a good oil but if found genuine only.. zic m7 you can find genuine from there official website.. and bdw Suzuki oil is really a pathetic quality.

And your tyre issue.. cant say anythng abt it as im still using the stock tyre. ppl say to use deluxe rim and 100/90/18 tyre size for better grip.
