10W40 is recomended grade for suzuki GS150.
and i will aslo recomend you to go for 10W40.
becasue 10W40 is thin oil with better fuel economy and acceleration as well as performance.
it make less wear and tear to engine.
also its semi syntehtic so it has more life then mineral 20w50.
so all in all i always recomend 10w40 since bike is new.
FXXB and EJ8 on its way............

oh you already drove 10000 kms.
if you drove all on 20w50 then 10w40 is not recommended.
becasue while 20w50 made enough wear the 10w40 will not work well.
    regarding.
oil interval it depends on the oil brand.
the Zic should not be drove more than 1000-1200 kms.
and the other low priced should be even used at for less interval.
while Liqui moly is able to work good for atleast 1500-2500 kms (company life is 5000 kms)

Did you experience to drive LM oil for 2500 km for Motor bikes?
I guess its just a craze for bikers to use LM oils. Same like people use “Hi-Octane” in CD70, 125, etc. assuming that its good for Engine without even knowing that motor bike engine doesn’t need Hi-Octane.

Read the manual first to know which oil Suzuki has recommended to use and stick to that oil.
Using expensive engine oils doesn’t make any significance. PK bikes are old technology engines and they need old grade oils.
Most commonly recommended oils for bikes are mineral based oils 20w-40, 20w-50 of 4T.
I literally seen people using ZIC A+ for bikes which is extremely not recommended by OEM. But ignorance has no limits.

Engine oil grade to be used according to the engine life; i mean in new vehicle it is recommended to use 10w40 but not after 20,000 or in old engines.

Air cooled engine hein sb. So if u ver using 10-40. Then keep sticking to it. Till it dosent smokes out. Or reduces.
Don't change ur brand so offten. Every oil has its own protective layer. Which can b dangerous on changing.
An expert apprised me in a way that one should not change the brand grade b ager change kerney hein tou same brand mei raho... Either wise search for the best match in other brands.

Use 10W40 because GS engine is OHC (over head cam) that,s why company has recommended A thin oil 10w40 for it
thin oil lubricate+flows more frequently than a thick

Always Use synthetic oils because synthetic oils are far far better than minerals
