This is not the original bumper - I got the entire bumper made.
The fog lights mod - I took that idea from the new shape swift.

Get the grill done black and do some chrome outline like in the Audi's. Try that, I hope that'll look even better.

Well I dont go to mechanics very often, its been a long time, really. I went to them last time for changing the car's spark plugs. And from then on only going for oil changes. Which oil is the best one to use for this car? I drive like max. 40km total in one day. And sorry other guys, I dont want to go to any other oil related thread. I own a swift and I want my question to be answered here

Any effect on fuel economy with the IK 20's? I believe the life of Ik 20 is 25k kms right?

No matter what anyone tells you, please understand that no matter how brilliant the product, the difference in such a small engine will be minimal.

Take the biggest number u can imagine but if u multiply it by 1, u don't get a bigger number :-)

For plugs, here's a quick summary:

    Platinum for economy and life,
    Iridium for performance and life,
    Copper for economy and performance.

Copper plugs have the best possible results but they have short lives, which is why the world moved to iridiums and platinums.

Its like synthetic vs mineral oil in our environment. Quick changes of mineral oil will serve u better than longer changes of synthetic oil.

Likewise, if u can, regularly replacing copper plugs is the best thing u can do.

The ik20s have much more life than copper, but they still have less life when compared to competing iridiums. This is because ik20s have sacrificed life for performance, so they are very good plugs performance wise and last longer than copper. However, they still can't match the performance of copper.

So it all boils down to your comfort level and convenience: what do u prefer? Quick intervals and top notch performance, or delayed intervals and SLGHTLY lesser performance?

Your answer to the above questions will decide the plugs for you. :-)

for ppl who will argue that changing plugs does not make difference, atleast for me it has proven otherwise.

stock plugs from suzuki dealerships = max mileage 11 kmpl

Denso Iridium IK20 = max mileage 12.8 kmpl

its 3rd tank filled after reserve light. almost 36 litres of fuel filled till auto stop. car is ran on 80% a/c with rpms roughly maintained between 2k-2.5k (with exceptions of short sprints upto 145 kmph every now and than since my office is on main beach avenue road)

although i think my car is running rich which i am planning to get a tune up done by carachi motors on 20k service (car is 16.3k at the moment).
@swati_freaked, One of my customer Haris bhai has posted his feedback regarding Denso IK20 with facts and figures, Denso IK20 lasts around 80,000 Kilometer.

You need to get it tuned up. I.e clean spark plugs etc.!

Does anyone know the price of the OEM Copper spark plugs which are available at 3S? Is it worth getting Denso IK20's?
Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.

The copper ones are NGK and should be within 1500rs.

    The ik20s cost between 4000 and 4500.

The ik20s last longer so they are actually cheaper if u factor in the life.

If you're looking purely for performance, I would suggest copper.

If you're looking for something u can put in and forget, then the ik20. No worries for 15,000-25,000kms. Apparently people have run them for 80,000kms as well, but I'm afraid such sad stuff won't be happening to my car.

    Copper I change every 5k-10k.

I would suggest you to get autolite XP3923, they are iridiums and quite good and you can get them from Lyallpur modifiers on Jaranwala road opposite punjab college. Their performance is much better than IK20, bargain with them and you can get these in 4000.

If your mileage per year is high thn go for iridium or high end plugs. If usage is normal, thn u can stick to OEM plugs.

Last tuning I got done was at 3100 KM. Been 19,300km now and no tuning except for Oil+filter change and Air filter change.
I guess spark plugs will be messed up when I get it serviced at 20,000km.

    Mileage- Did 638KM in 40.24 Liters of Petrol= 15.85KM/l.

Normal city driving- RPM below 2500. Did a round trip to Lahore- 360 KM. Speed maintained to Lahore was 80km/h and Crazy Lahore driving in rush, On the way back, Motorway to Sheikhupura- 110km/h and then 90km/h till I reached home.

    Pretty good fuel average
Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.
