205/55/15 is the ideal replacement size. Very little effect on speedo reading BUT finding tyres in this profile is tough.

I found bridgestone potenza re001 in this size but they were pathar k tyres :p

Hi everyone...I purchased a brand new Swift DLX 3 days back. The car has been driven 150km by now...Something which I have felt (may be normal), is that when I accelerate with high rpms (4000-5000 in 2-4th gear), and then slow down the car, I could smell what feld like a burning smell, the smell went away after a couple of minutes...i have noticed that during normal driving..no such thing...one of my friends told me that since the engine is new, and still under running and parts are still settling in, its pretty normal that the smell would be coming from plastic/rubber pipes heating up (under hard acceleration) for the very first time...and with more mileage, this will go away eventually..is this normal? or should I get it checked immediately?

    ^Mubarik on new car, MashAllah
First of all- Drive the car calmly for the first 1000 km- Don't put too much stress on your engines internals, it's best for you, in the long run.
Burning smell? Last night I did some italian tuning, I faced that smell as well. Either Clutch Plates or Carbon getting pushed out of your engine. Clutch Plates have a Leather coating on and when driving at high rpm in low gears, the friction makes them hot.
Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.

    Khair mubarik Faiz ...
hmm..well..its pretty hot in lahore these days..and I have been driving it calmly...only pushed a bit during nite driving...I placed my hand in front of the exhaust and smelled it..and it was the same burning smell...(just after I had been a little hard on the acceleration). I beleive its excess carbon...

^Another thing, your car will be running a tiny bit rich in mixture ( AFR ) due to it being new. You will enjoy the mileage after 6-7,000 KM.
    Hence, the smell.

My friends always mess with my head, I drive sloooowly.
Friend: Oi, Cultus nay overtake kiya hay, downshift kar, Baisti ho rahi hay- lol.
Hence, I usually ride Solo or only keep 1 friend alongside me, who bugs me to wear seatbelt as well

That's the smell of catalytic converter and it's normal. This smell is felt at high rpm when converter performs more to convert non environment friendly exhausts to environmentally acceptable. Enjoy ur ride

It won't go away rather it's good that you are smelling it as it certifies that CC is working properly.

Just for everyone, you should drive your car bit harsh at least once a month so that all the bad stuff in the CC burns away, it will increase life of CC.

Lets think of it in a positive way.
Rent a car research proves that swift is as durable and reliable as their favourite eskailaye.
