I usually refill from Shell which is on Jaranwala road right next to Susan road Chowk.
I'll not recommend that Pump. Had a bad experience.

    Why, what happened?
Sometimes I do not even check the display, still get "proper" amount of fuel

Infact, Total is opposite Shell but I do not fancy Total pumps. They charge from 1-3% on Debit card, whilst Shell charge 0%.

I dont keep much knowledge in terms of hardware like s_ruhail and sdogar so i can advise on a limited scale
I used to get 500 approx from full tank in while reserve light use to light up at 420 approx
Then after some time when i got my 10k service done at 8k due to warranty expiry issues, i now got reserve light at 370 which was mind boggling. Tried hypermilling a bit and made sure everything changed in service was genuine and new. The drop in effeciency was beyond me. Then met with other fellow swift owners and found that they suffered the same from initial stages of purchase.
Only way is to change or adopt a lighter way to driving since what you have done is sufficient.
P.S. remember swift is bad at mileage if u live/ drive in a rushy area. Dont expect more unless you are on long routes.

People got it installed and said it improved mileage. I on the other hand believe filter should be kept stock.
Upto an individuals budget to support a filter worth 5k. Others may elaborate more on its benefits

Tbh I never really did the break in period as is commonly suggested. First 1000 kms slow? No thanks.

I was younger back then and the car was one of the few around, and she would always egg me on.

I was roaring around since day 1 and my fuel economy was top notch, around what you guys usually get, until a few months back.

There is work pending but I just can't be bothered anymore with the whole selling off idea.

Run a full tank or two with high octane, and get injectors ultra sonically cleaned.

How much KMs on the odo?

it's approximately 55,000 kms and properly maintained and not rashly driven. I couldn't find any place in Islamabad that provides ultrasonic injector cleaning, even authorized dealerships do not offer this service. I will try to fill completely with High Octane once.
Have you used K&N filter ? Any feedback on that ?

Haha yes, ran a short ram intake for a few thousand kms. Waste of time and effort tbh. All I got was a noisier engine, and with a lot of tweaking, more power higher up and less torque down below. Performance and fuel economy difference was there, but too little to be worth the time and money invested. Plus, there's always the factor of inferior air filtering and particles ending up inside the engine.

There must be someone with ultrasonic injector cleaning. Try and locate them. Don't rely on dealerships. They will remove your injectors and wash them with petrol. A part this sensitive can't be handled this way. Idiots.

But please make sure that injectors are removed and installed properly. Refitting improperly can be worse.

I know. I read what he wrote. The design matters little, the idea is the same: compromised filtration for greater air intake.

    Not recommended.
