Warranty is not void by using others type of oil(s). You always and will get warranty, except if you tinker with genuine wiring, have an accident where that part is covered in warranty starts malfunctioning, e.g ECU or where it is plain simply your fault.
Warranty claims are stronger if you follow company specifications, since the dealership will send a case to KHI headoffice, where the decision will take place. I personally have only used LM or Caltex oil, still got stuff done from warranty- ( Speakers 3x replaced) and other things which I unfortunately cannot remember.

Warranty issue = marketing gimmick > increase of genuine SGO products sold> Abroad travels for employees.

What I always strive to get from Dealership is the genuine oil filter ( the large one for 950.-), and get the car tuned from there as well.

Yeah that is right. But one thing to be noted, there is no such thing as tuning in ECU controlled cars. Car ECU itself controls everything from RPM to detection of faults. That tuning thing is required only if you install addons in cars that boost car performance or engine is acting weird due to an electrical fault or damaged sensors or you personally have messed with throttle, IACV etc that has caused certain abnormality.

Ye, I meant to say maintenance, but I was running late. Got a lunch break now yup- maintenance as in inspecting/cleaning or replacing spark plugs, air filter etc. Doing these things in dealerships gives you a + in their books.

Notmally people dont have to claim engine warranty. But unless u have service history with paksuzuki mo warranty for engine at all. They won't allow it. They have central db which maintains all records so warranty can be claimed across pakistan

Trust me, that's more than 50% of fuel consumed. I bet fuel light will turn on at 500-530km.

When I refill 45 liters from almost nil petrol (I can see the petrol near the fuel cap, that's how much I tank at once sometimes ), in car and omw to Islamabad on motorway at @120 km/h, which is like 12.5-13km/l with ac on, after 140 km or so, the needle drops this much. I personally believe that to the red line, ca. 10 liters of fuel is used.

It's all about getting a good piece. Car manufacturers intentionally build ECU for best, moderate or worst fuel economy. That's because they want high profits for oil companies.

Yeah. It's all the way same. I agree with you. But still, you should wonder why a 1600 CC car could be more fuel efficient than 1000 CC or 1300 CC car! That's because the car engine, components and its ECU/carburetor is built that way. People who have used Baleno can confirm my claim that Baleno was more fuel efficient than current Swift (and even cultus). That car came in 1300 CC (local) and 1600 CC (imported) variants and both were equally fuel economical. Now, that Alto which is assembled and sold in Pakistan is the most fuel drinking car I have ever seen. It has got smaller engine (1000 CC) but pathetic average/liter (people experience tells it is 7-10 kmpl). So, why is that? That's because cars are intentionally built that way. New Wagon R is also 1000 CC but gives 19+ KM/L on the long routes and its city average is also better than any other 1000 CC car available in Pakistan (people experience tells 14-15 kmpl in city with 100 % A/C usage). So, my friend understand that we are living in the world where I or you are only consumers and not the policy makers.
