Pakistan will see the new shape of Swift one year after it goes obsolete globally. For e.g: Swift Hatchback goes obsolete globally and Pakistan gets Cultus in 2000, Swift (current PKDM shape) model goes obsolete globally and introduced in Pakistan in 2010, WagonR goes obsolete globally and introduced in Pakistan, Liana known as Aerio gets obsolete (replaced by SX4 sedan) globally and we get it in Pakistan, Kizashi dies globally and already produced units sent to Pakistan.
Nutshell: Pak Suzuki gets obsolete models to save finances that a company has to pay for getting a new model.

I regret not checking now ( only paid attention to the last few letters in the model number )

    instead of this K20PR-U11 densos
    i now have 4 K16PR-U11 densos

A quick read up online has told me that this is only differing in teh way heat is transferred in the spark plugs, so do i go back and change them or is it fine if i stick these ones in there?

And also it says to replace the brake fluid and fuel filter, along with inspecting very many other things.
Its a bit of a long trip to the suzuki center, and id like it to be avoided as much as possible but the manual says to replace and inspect and lube so many things i wanna die.
Is it fine if i just take care of the air/oil filters, spark plugs and engine oil and leave eveything else or do i have to go and get everything checked.
    Whats the odometer reading?
How much did the sgp brake pads cost you.

If i were you i would get the brake oil change and the brake pad change done from 3s and the rest from outside. (Using oem parts obviously)

Lol true that, i remember a senior member quoting here about new suzuki shapelift maybe be introduced in mid of 2015.
When I looked up "Ninjas" in Thesaurus.com, it said "Ninja's can't be found" Well played Ninjas, well played.

i.e. Provided it is going to be obsolete globally even an year later, then they might overlap the shape for an year early release here, like Liana dies in 2007 but was born in Pakistan an year early to global model death in 2006.

on the ODO, its just about 50k now, and the sgp pads i got them for....about 1200 rs for a full set.
The box has japanese written all over it, and a holographic suzuki logo all over it if looked at a angle, so im inclined to believe they are genuine.

I returned the plugs ( the densos ) and now got 4 NGK BKR6EY-11 plugs. They look to be the same as the usual ones, except that they have the V thing.

The brake pads, im going to agree with you on this, its probably safer to get it done by 3s, at least they will properly pump the brakes and all.

The spark plugs, ill get them replaced with these V ones and see if there is any sort of difference.

Other then that...meh. Nothing much to do.

Anyone know how much a new brake light assembly is for? ( and if its possible to only replace the plastic on it instead of the entire light?)

about coolant it shouldn't decrease at all if all is well as its pressurised and cant evaporate anyway. just have a quick look round the hoses from the bottom for any signs and also at the radiator for any pinhole leaks which can be caused by stones but i very much doubt that it would be the case. most probably maybe its not a properly fitting cap on the expansion tank or check the seals of the radiator cap if they are perished. seems a minor issue.

Guys, my Swift DLX is a year old and since today i am experiencing 'tick tick' noise from the engine area when i turn off the car. Is it normal?

Also, just today i saw my coolant level was low, so i topped it up with Osaka green coolant. Does it make a difference?

I don't think suzuki dealerships allow you to use any oil other then SGO. This ought to give them an excuse to avoid warranty.
