Suzuki After Sales service is pathetic. The quality of Swift has gone way down after 2011

I have been getting outside oil changed from Suzuki dealership and also got the warranty. It depends upon the dealership and there is no such issue of voiding the warranty.

Then that must a very cooperative dealership. Once this issue came up with my dealership and they were telling me that for example if you get an oil change from outside and sometime later a fault develops within your engine which requires major overhaul or complete replacement, the oil engine is taken to factory for diagnostics and tests. They check if the fault was on their end or the consumers. If they check the oil and find it to be one from outside, they decline the warranty claim and shift the bill on the client.

In principle terms they clearly state users not to use 3rd party oil and if they do they will void warranty. Its like taking a risk. Suzuki's oil is not THAT bad that its untouchable and unusable.

These are all tactics by dealership if they don't want to give warranty, basically it is in hands of dealership whether to entertain a warranty or not. I got my bearings replaced from dealership after warranty had expired and they showed the mileage within warranty in their correspondence to suzuki so it is all in their hands & I had very good relationship with one of the mechanic and he did everything.

Suzuki has recently launched their own oils (SGO). They are pushing dealerships to boost sales since SGO isn't available anywhere else, hence dealerships are using all the BS they can to make customers buy SGO.

Used FUCHS and Castrol on my swift for 135k kms, 5-6 warranty claims processed without a whine.

I got a brand new Swift DLX in 2014. In the first 6 months, there was a strange noise coming from the front wheel side, got it checked, the dealer said they will have to change the power steering rack (cost Rs. 150,000) which was replaced under warranty. IMAGINE ITS A NEW CAR! After three months, there was noise and vibration coming from the back side. Again got it checked, the dealer said they will have to change the wheel bearing...imagine bearing usually lasts a long time...and this was changed within one year! Suzuki is a Suzuki in the end! The reason i bought a new car is not to have problems popping out, and with this car so many problems in just the first year!!!

Shafs, your unit might be defected. I've a Dark Blue, Swift DLX, bought in 2012. We've had no complaints from it. It ran flawlessly it's first two years. And still has no performance, or rattling, or noise problems to this day. The only little problem we've faced is that one of the pillar's plastic cover is a bit loose and comes off if nudged. It remains in place if it's given a push. So far, I'm living with it since it's not a huge thing

Can anyone tell me whats the current delivery time for suzuki swift in Karachi. I booked one from Danish Motors on 4th May, they gave me 12 working days delivery, today is the 12th working day and I called them and they said they haven't got the car yet from Pak Suzuki. Called Pak Suzuki then, they said it will take atleast 30 days to deliver, its not in production.
I asked if the waiting time was 30 days, why your dealership is communicating the wrong delivery time and they had no answer. This is the worst ever experience i am having with Pak Suzuki, and in future will never opt Pak Suzuki vehicle ever again.
